"We hired Advanced to rip up our old driveway, and put in an expanded asphalt driveway. We also needed a new walkway as the old red bricks were uneven and posed a tripping hazard. James worked with me to ensure the shape of the expanded driveway was exactly what we wanted. The team worked very fast and James was on site throughout the project. Further working with us, they ensured the walkway end was flush with the driveway (avoiding another previous tripping hazard), and worked with me to lay pipe underneath the new walkway so I could extend our in-ground sprinklers and have the option to add electrical. The team put string through and planted flags in the ground marking the ends of the pipes. They even redid the pavers of our front stoop including cutting out and regrouting. Everything looked so great that we hired James 9 months later to come back and install two quarter-circle sitting walls at the ends of our driveway. They even relocated the plants for us. "I would recommend Carl Bongiorno & Sons to everyone. This was a very big job that got bigger as we went along. Over 3,000 sq ft of patio pavers done the right way over a steel reinforced concrete base. A fire pit with bench, a spillover spa, a built in outdoor barbecue area, both rear steps, a retaining wall, a gravel side of house parking area, sod and landscape plantings. Throughout the entire process there was constant communication with Carl and his sons Carl Jr and Garret. They battled mother nature and other contractors with true professionalism. Their equipment is top notch and they did a great clean up every day prior to leaving. As with any project with anyone the more you know about what you want and are able to communicate it to them the better they can assist you with the design of your project. Carl Sr has been in business for a long time and it is now a family business that will be around for a long time to come. I highly recommend them and will use them again. "Sal and his crew did a lot of work for us last year - paver walkways, patio, and raised deck. He was great, quick, reasonable and we were thrilled with the work. We’ve gotten lots of compliments on the yard since then. We had a pool added on to the paver deck since then and when we reopened the pool this year we noticed that the pavers had sunken in a bit in the middle. I waited all summer to call Sal about it because I was afraid of the hassle I was sure it would be to get it fixed. I emailed Sal this week and he called me within 24 hours. He came that day to look at it and within another 24 hours, he and his crew had repaved the whole deck. No questions and no charge. He also replaced two stones that we had damaged, as a courtesy. He was extremely helpful with suggestions and patterns. In the middle of the job I asked for an estimate for the side of our house for a walkway and he was able to do that as well as the initial work.
