"They took the time to make sure everything worked for our lawn and garden. Price quoted was fair and remained constant even after the work was completed. Work was completed quickly with little disruption to the existing lawn and garden. They were very responsive and came back when called to check on new system. We will be using this company again for any other projects."

"A back water valve was installed in my basement. A & A Innovative was hired to install valve cover, fill in the opening with gravel and concrete, cover the hole with concrete and level off with floor. The procedure was explained in professional and layman's terms, I was able to take photos as the work proceeded, the worker was on time. Area left clean. The price was very reasonable."

"He came and gave us our estimate in a reasonable amount of time. When we called and said we would like to use his services, he took a long time in getting back to us. Finally, a date was set, he showed up promptly and completed the work on schedule. The problem started when he took it upon himself, "as a favor" to remove and reset 5-6 Belgian blocks that line the side of my driveway. I come outside and see that Mr. Valuri (owner/operator) and his crew have removed 2 blocks at the top of my driveway and 3-4 blocks at the bottom. Said something to the effect that the blocks were loose and he didn't want the landscapers to feel bad that they loosened them with their lawnmowers. He did this without asking me, showing me what he wanted to do in advance and getting my permission. He just did it. I thought it was nice of him. After he reset the blocks (with mortar) and left, I looked at his work and saw that the blocks at the top of the driveway were set crookedly and the blocks at the bottom of the driveway seemed to be missing a half a block and he tried to stretch the distance between the remaining blocks by making large mortar joints. What he did looks horrible but I didn't say anything to him at the time, because he was still working on the pavers and I didn't want to start an argument at that point. On Sept 23, 2 days after the work was completed, I sent him an email (his preferred method of contact) explaining the problem. He responded the next day, saying he was sure he could address my issues and will contact me soon to let me know my schedule. Then a few days later, I noticed that some of the polymer grout between a paver and my house by the front door was gone, allowing a good place for water to seep into my foundation. I called him up and left a voice mail explaining the new problem and made it clear that I thought this was important to fix and that I would appreciate him returning soon. I called and emailed a number of times, to which he only responded once, on Oct 1 saying he did not forget about me and that he had to come back to my block soon because my neighbor across the street had hired him to do some work on his own driveway pavers. After a few more calls, texts or emails, I finally realized that he may never be coming back, so I sent him an email expressing my displeasure in his failure to contact me and return and repair the work and saying that I would have to leave a negative review in Angie's list if he did not call me and schedule a definitive date. That did it because he got in touch with me the next day by email, Here's his response: "Dave, are you serious? I told you when we talked that I would come back and address your issues. It was my understanding that you were aware that I had previously scheduled jobs on my calendar, and that I would come see you possibly in between one of the next few jobs. Until now, this was still the scenario. I did not feel that a daily report and/or conversation was required. Fixing the cobblestones at the end of the driveway that your landscapers knocked loose with their machine, was something that I did as a nice gesture. But in all of the cobblestone work, all I did was reset your existing stones. The sizing and spacing of the stones is the same. If 1 stone is larger then the next, that's the way it was before. Regardless, these issues that you have are minor, and throughout my conversations with you, did not feel like I had to rush there to address them. You seemed satisfied knowing that I was coming back to address the issues. So I can't understand where the threatening email is coming from. I'm sorry that you felt it had come to that. It's a shame, I thought we had a good relationship. <br /> <p>So, if you would like to now go on Angie's List and make your complaint, feel free to do so. I have saved all records of the emails, texts, and conversations that we've had. I'm sure that I have handled this situation both professionally and responsibly. I'm confident that my records will show this." Finally, on Oct. 29 I sent one last email asking if he was coming back or not. He has not responded. I also spoke to my neighbor who told me that Mr. Valuri called him and cancelled his job because of the problem he was having with me. So he is not coming back and I now have to hire another mason to resent my Belgian blocks and repair the polymer grout that is missing. What can I say.</p> <br />"

"It experience was fine, it was great. I guess the price was fair. He was fair, absolutely. Actually, he was above, because he did things that I didn’t even ask him to do. The quality, so far so good. For his professionalism, he was wonderful."

"went to angies list and found 3 well rated concrete specialists to compare. 2 of the 3 responded to my request for a free estimate immediately. one wanted to tear out and dispose of my existing patio stones and lay a brand new foundation with Cambridge paving stones on the exterior. the other was Forte who said, why do the extra cost of the removal of the old , when you can just go over it with a layer of sand and whatever else they use, level as needed, then lay the Cambridge pavers. the other, name I will not mention, did not provide me with that option. they also said they would e mail me that day they were here for the estimate , pictures of previous jobs they have done with the paving stones so I could see the work they had done and how a final job would look. when they neglected to follow up on that promise, they immediately were scratched off my list. I even called the next morning of the estimate and left a message regarding I never received the pictures via e mail and they still never followed through. So Forte was my selection. Andrew C was very attentive getting back to me and just gave a very nice impression upon meeting him face to face at the time of the estimate. Having a good gut feeling as they say is very important and that's what myself and my wife had. Originally saying it might take 2 days, the job actually took only 1 day. His hard working and extremely friendly dad , Mr. forte Sr., and another helper did the job in 90 degree heat, stopping only for the many bottles of water we provided them gladly. Mr. Forte Sr did the front step sloped up concrete entrance to the patio once, but then did it over again because it was not to HIS liking! Then with the leftover cement I asked if he could fix a broken piece of walkway in the front of our home which they gladly did for us. the All that was left for us to do was spread the sand out across the patio the next day to get in between the stones. I found that to be a little frustrating and annoying, but I called Andrew and told him of my getting a little overwhelmed and stressed out that I was doing it properly and he assured me it was a basically an easy task and not one that needed perfection. Well it came out really really nice, no complaints. drainage is perfect and an unexpected big plus is we barely see any ants anymore! Make sure to mention angie's list and get that 5% discount offered and use Forte, you will not be disappointed."
