"I needed to have a small paint repair job done. Andre came over and gave me a fair bid to paint 3 window sills for me. He was kind and professional and we scheduled a date. Honestly, I was happy to get a bid for such a small job. Ric came over and completed the job. He was also professional and thorough and did an excellent job. I appreciated the company agreeing to do my job even though it was probably more of a nuisance than was worth their time and efforts. Thank you!"

"Stuart was quick to respond to my request for an estimate and managed to schedule the project within a few weeks from the time I signed the contract. He explained the process clearly and kept me informed about the progress. He worked thoroughly and efficiently, getting the deck prepped in just a few hours the first day, and with the help of a crew member, finishing up the sanding and staining in just over half a day. When the costs ran lower than anticipated, he passed the savings on to me. Best of all, it looks like I have a brand new deck. People I don’t even know have complimented me on how good it looks. The whole experience was seamless."

"Peter painted our fiberglass front door to our home. The fiberglass doors were challenging, and he spend a great deal of time with the prep of the door and around the glass inserts around the door. His work was outstanding, and the finished product was probably better than when we bought the doors new. We sincerely appreciated his work and highly recommend him for any projects one has in regard to specialty painting."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Issaquah, WA

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
