"I hired Save A Tree to trim my big 175-200 year old oak tree. I told them there were ants in the tree and I was concerned about future damage. They told me they can do ant treatment also a seaweed treatment to help prevent shock. I had several other companies look at my tree. They were the only ones that even mentioned having services like this! Or discussed shock prevention for my tree."

"Statewide far exceeded my expectations! I had multiple large dead trees & stumps removed and I expected that there would be a fairly large cleanup I would do after they left. Their equipment did not damage my lawn and they did an amazing job cleaning up and reseeding the lawn! The owner & crew were friendly, professional, and efficient, and charged a fair price. I highly recommend them and would certainly use them again!"

FAQs for tree service projects in Ivoryton, CT

Professionals remove shrubs by first cutting back the branches using tools like pruning shears or chainsaws for thicker stems. They then cut the base close to the ground and dig around the root system to remove the roots completely, preventing regrowth. Finally, they’ll ensure proper disposal of branches and debris while complying with local regulations.

A bush stump will regrow if any portion of its root system remains. When even a small section of roots is left behind, new shoots emerge and regenerate the bush with leggy, spreading growth. Working with a professional landscaper ensures the complete removal of the stump and all roots, which is essential to prevent any regrowth, ensuring that the area remains clear and maintenance is minimized.
