Point made: This is an electrical contractor who exhibits a sense of integrity and doesn't gauge his customers. In addition, Dan provided recommended suggestions for the future. When he discovered he would be an hour late due to an unexpected customer emergency, he alerted us and kept us informed of his anticipated time of arrival. Final point: he is a good communicator, understands his customers well and is empathetic to their needs. It doesn't get much better than that. My vote: A+. Bravo for a job well done."

"I had the good fortune of meeting Gregg from Firefly Landscape Lighting several weeks ago. He is a teacher who loves spending time outdoors when not at school. I had Kicher outdoor lights installed last year. From the first day, I had issues with lights being lighter and darker than each other and others going out completely. Gregg met me at exactly 7am as promised so I could leave for work on time. He was able to tell me within several minutes what was wrong with the system and what he needed to do to get it working. Gregg seemed very honest and knowledgeable and gave me what seemed to be a fair price for the work that needed to be done. I agreed to have him fix the system that day. I left for work and he called me several hours later that the system was fixed and it was. I am only sorry that I did not know Gregg at the beginning of the project so that he could have helped with design, fixture selection and installation. I am sure it would have come out much better."

"On Pete's first visit, we described what we wanted and showed him the existing fixtures. Not being familiar with lighting options, we asked Pete for his suggestions, for example, canister or pendant lights above the peninsulas, and the best solution for the under cabinets. After listening to Pete's suggestions, we decided on canister ceiling fixtures and zip-strips for under the cabinets. We thought his estimate for the work was quite fair, and, after consulting calendars, set a date for the work. Pete and his brother contacted us close to the work date to confirm that it would still work in our schedule. They had expected the work to take about 2 days, but it was more like a day and a half. They installed seven small canister lights, zip-strips under three sections of cabinets, and ran new wiring up from the basement to accommodate the zip-strips. Everything went according smoothly except the placement of two canisters had to be altered because of existing plumbing pipes. Pete patched the ceiling so it was ready for painting and vacuumed every speck of dust!"
