"I have been using Dan Collins for over a year.  Last year, I bought a 16-year-old house that still had builder's grade white paint throughout the interior.  I arranged for a painter, who changed his mind on the day he was supposed to start. I received Dan's contact information, called him that same morning, and he was out to look at the house that afternoon. It was a large job - 2400+ square feet, with every wall, ceiilng, and piece of trim, crown molding, chair rails, etc. needing to be painted.  He knew I was under a time crunch to get the work done and even though he had other jobs on his calendar, he still managed to put together a crew of 14 guys to come in over the weekend, set up scaffolding where needed, get a huge jump-start on the project.  He made sure there were at least 3 guys at my house every weekday, and then arranged for another large group to come in the following weekend.  The quality of the workmanship was nothing short of excellent.  His guys were polite, respectful, hardworking, diligent, and every single day they cleaned up their entire work area.  About 5 months later, I had his guys come back to paint our staircase, banisters, and the second floor railing which overlooks the first floor family room.  Again, another excellent job.  Most recently (2 weeks ago) I had his guys back again to paint the exterior trim around all our windows, our garage door, front door, two rear doors (one requiring repair due to wood rot), and once again, excellent work.  In the fall, we will bring Dan back in to paint our finished basement.  I wouldn't use anyone else!"

From getting the quote through to project closeout I was dealing with either highly competent project managers or the workers themselves. Would highly recommend them to anyone doing a complicated project. Ours included multiple ceiling patches, lots of prep work for base boards, and tall ceiling spaces. "It all went amazingly. First, Francisco got back to me very quickly and came to give a bid very quickly. His price was very competitive and of the several bids we got he was the only one who was able and willing to do everything we needed without hemming and hawing about it. (Patching holes and doing some repair on a doorframe that rotted.) That was all included in the price. His guys were great. Basically once I said yes and paid the deposit, I didn’t have to do or think about anything. Even when the weather was a bit crazy Francisco was very communicative about when they’d be back, and they were. I didn’t remember if we had discussed a few windows, and some areas that needed extra attention after the project was done. They were dealt with asap, at no extra charge. He gave me tips on keeping it nice, and gave some extra paint for when the kids (and probably me) inevitably mess up the brand new paint. I also like that he and his wife both have small businesses in philly. I would highly recommend New Era Pro for exterior painting projects. I would use them again for sure, but because of the quality products and quality of work, hopefully I won’t have to!"
