"During a recent storm on  a Friday night, an ancient, very large walnut tree came down. When we saw it the next morning, we asked around for recommendations. Affordable Tree Service was the name we were given. After checking them out on Angie's List, we called. They happened to be in the area. We had an estimate in our hands within 30 minutes of the time we called. That was Saturday morning. They promised to be here "first thing Monday morning." They arrived at 7:30 AM and began work. They were done, cleaned up, and on their way by 10 AM. They also went to the extra trouble of taking the useable wood  to the "wood cutters," a local organization that provides cut wood to those in need for heating during the winter.
