"Friebel's team exceeded our expectations. The work was beautiful, they executed quickly, the individuals who came out each day to do the work were polite, hard-working, and cleaned up after themselves. We ended up needing them to create window wells, add a lattice work barrier between our carport and the back yard, and to close up an existing firepit in the yard and fill hole in. They showed great flexibility in doing these additional projects. Finally, while doing the paver, they realized they would have to fill an egress near our back door - they barely skipped a beat. Friebel had someone on his team with work in pouring concrete and handled easily. I again appreciated their flexibility and I was impressed by their professionalism. They are actual pros in their field and we definitely plan to contact them when we look to update our front yard."

"This is one honest company. Called them to look at my mom's porch and after taking time on a Saturday to come look at it he concluded that the porch in fact did not need to be replaced and that it was fine - just needed cosmetic work. Did not charge us a dime and he sure could have. When I do need something done I am calling them."

"Great work by Angel and his crew! We had a 300 sq foot paver patio installed, along with removal of existing stone and brick patio, installation of a walkway to garage and back door, remediation of drainage issue with installation of a drainage pipe, and planting grass seed. Angel quoted us several months ago and when we were ready, they came back out and completed the work within a week."

"Danny did a big month's long project for us in 2021-2022. He designed a stone patio and walkway in our back yard, including installing fencing and a raised flower bed; he designed a paver stone driveway to replace our old asphalt driveway; and he designed a multi-story stone wall and garden area with a paver stone walkway in our front yard. And then Danny and his partner Levi put it all together. Throughout the project they were courteous, they listened to our suggestions and worked to implement them, and their prices were very fair considering the high quality of work that they did. I believe that you can see a video of the finished project on the DLG Properties Services Facebook page. We think you'll agree that Danny did a fantastic job. We give them our highest rating. Thank you, Danny and your team at DLG properties Services!"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Johnstown, OH

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
