"Matt Skubiz team from Dream Home Exteriors did a phenomenal job. My roof required a double tear off and partial plywood underlayment replacement. His team of very hardworking roofers came and finished everything in one day! Very importantly, a few things really to Matt's credit and all the people that work for him. Phone calls promptly returned, usually within minutes. Start to finish in one day. Took proactive steps to protect the landscape, central air, garage doors, etc... Cleaned up! Did a really good job at cleaning up. Several of my neighbors commented to me as well that they were impressed at how well of a job they did. I also had 1 piece of aluminum fascia that needed replacement which they replaced and matched very well to existing that had been put up about 17 years ago. I sought out bids from multiple roofers, with Matt's being the most competitive, despite 1 of the other bids using exactly the same materials. Matt also has a greater detailed contract, spelling out clearly what's included, so you don't have to guess. Some of the other contracts I reviewed were not very complete, nor as professional looking. He has a very well rounded approach from start to finish and respectful as well. By the way, I am a Real Estate Appraiser for 45 years and have watched quite a few roofers. I never knew Matt before he did my roof. So, if someone asks me, I will have no problem recommending. Caleb inspected out roof inside and out and found cracked Boards (not surprising for a 122 year old house) and explained what HG would do for repairs bad new shingles in a way that was easy tomunndersstandvsnccgavevus a quote well under what I expected to pay. It was hard not to pass the deal Up so we went with the quote. Thinking it would be weeks before they started the job I was surprised when Devan the project manager called and said a crew would be out the next day. Sure enough they were and within 10â hours everything was completed. Watching the workers go at it, they did and installed everything Caleb and Devan said would happen. "I contacted RK Roofing after getting a bunch of quotes that were not bad (and one that was terrible--looking at you, Feldco). The owner Jerry promptly contacted me and was able to get the quote done very quickly. The quote was incredibly reasonable, especially for a company that had such a great Angie's List rating. When they came to do the work, the crew leader Greg was a really nice guy and did a great job of communicating any extra work that needed to be done. They also took care of some various things that were wrong, like a vent that went to nowhere, a broken fan, and added some more mushroom vents for not much extra (and there will always be extra in any roofing project). One other small thing that I appreciated was that, at the end of the work, they just left and sent me an invoice in the mail; there wasn't any pressure to give them a check right then and there. Given that roofing is usually a really expensive repair and you're often pulling together money from different sources, I just thought that was an extra nice touch. Highly recommend."
