"I stopped their lawn fertilization service in 2015 because the grass was looking terrible and when I called them to talk about it, they were going to check that I got the correct fertilizer for my area. They never got back to me. I had told the service tech in 2014 that if the lawn didn't start looking better, I was going to stop the service because it wasn't helping the lawn. I continued the tree/shrub service and have been very satisfied with Doug, the service tech. He even suggested cutting back on our yews in the back which should invigorate new growth. My rating for Doug is excellent and rate he lawn/fertilizer service as poor."

"We had someone else come out earlier with a quote that was less than McGinty's so we were not sure at that time exactly what we were going to do but the gentleman from McGinty was very nice and very punctual. I think that we just really left it there. His price was almost double the price of the other company that I had come out. I think that I could get a $40 or $60 discount from them because of Angie's List but still, they were more. The gentleman seemed knowledgeable of the different trees that we had. I was hoping to get the work done now but he said, then they would have to charge us more because we have an oak tree at the back and that needed to be done after the leaves fall off. He said that if anyone else told us to do it now, they would be telling us incorrectly. I am not a tree person so I do not know. It is hard to say if we would consider using them in the future because of the price but we will get another quote from them again."

"Craig and his team are awesome. I have used a different lawn fertilization company for the past 10 years. They started to get expensive so I called Weiss to get a quote. Speaking with Craig was easy and he explained the whole program for me. It also cost less so I saved a good chunk of money. Weiss is here regularly which I cannot say for the last guys I used. Also, and more importantly, my lawn has never looked better. My lawn looks better then Augusta National a week before the big one. It's unbelievable. My hat his off to Craig and his team. "It went great. <br /> We developed a roach problem due to bringing in furniture from another house that had those bugs. Fortunately we realized the issue quickly. <br /> BA came out promptly and dealt with the problem as scheduled. John(?) was fast, efficient and took care not to create any problems with our existing layout. He had all the necessary tools to get the job done right away and spent an hour or two in our small rancher. Suffice to say, the roach issues disappeared after the visit. <br /> I personally like working with local contractors as opposed to larger chains. While there are certainly reputable companies out there, I was more impressed that BA was a family owned business operating for several decades. In today's economic climate, it speaks volumes to the fact they must be doing something right and we were not disappointed. <br /> Should there be further issues, I will not hesitate to contract BA again. <br /> The only DON'T I would put into this review is to not use email to contact them. Call them. You will receive a prompt reply even if you leave a message. This is pretty much true with ALL Angie's List providers.
