"Mike came out to assess for a free estimate. I had these repairs done before many years ago and his estimate a very fair estimate so I had him do the repairs on the spot. He spent a long time replacing the springs but also reinforcing the doors and making sure they operated correctly. My motors are old and when they stop, I will use 911 Garage Doors to replace e them. "My existing french patio door had an unusual width, 73 1/2 instead of standard 72. I was going to buy the door from HomeDepot at first, but any time you custom order, the price more than doubles from their in-stock price. So, I just had Caleb get the door from his supplier. I got a Masonite door installed for $1250. Caleb brought the door and custom made it on site, frame and all. The new door has a nice frame that has vinyl bottom to prevent it from rotting, which was one of the reasons why I got this door replaced. As mentioned in other reviews, Caleb is very skilled and detail oriented. During installation, he noticed that the header board was not properly secured and even fixed that. Overall, I was very impressed and very happy with the new door. <br /> In fact, I was so happy with the installation that on the very same day I asked him for an estimate on a new job. For some reason, my house doesn't have access to attic space above my kitchen. So, I asked if he could install a door from my living area upstairs that can lead to that area. I obviously hired him again. Caleb ordered a solid core door and installed it another day. He opened up a hole through the drywall, installed new frame for the door, did all the weather stripping since it's facing attic space. Door and installation cost $600. Again, I am very happy with the installation. I'll definitely hire Caleb for all my future door needs. <br /> <br />"

"Through Angie's List I  bought 2 ."Deals", the $39 Garage Door Tune Up.-- one for each door with auto-mechanism.  At first there was  a glitch with J&W  not receiving the  message from Angie's List Message Board, but when  I contacted them from my personal email, they resopnded immediately and  sent a tech out the same day.  This is the first time I ever had my own garage and the tech patiently taught me all about garage doors: servicing, balancing, how to make the motors last, programming the outside codes, how to change the bulbs in the motors, the safety features, security features,  and  how to operate the doors manually.  (For those of you who have had garage doors for many years I know it sounds lame that I didn't know how to do all that but we all start somewhere when we learn )The garage doors had been kind of noisy and clangy and wobbly (this is a pre-owned home). When he was finished  with the tune up the difference was amazing!  Both doors now  operate smoothly and quietly after he tightened here, and loosened there, and lubricated etc.  He recommended a strut be placed on the one door to stabiize it and reduce stress on the expensive motor so I will be calling them back to do that. <br />"
