They were either trying to skip steps (not get City permit) or upcharge me for equipment I didn’t need or tell me I needed a new breaker box without full understanding of the load. I then had John from Mr Sparky show up. I didn’t need any of the extras the other companies were trying to upsell me for and he got the charger installed no problem at a fair price. I'm only docking a star for work quality because they mounted my EVSE a bit hastily and had to slightly re-position it with new mounting holes to reach the 240V outlet they installed. The measurements were known beforehand, so this could have been avoided. The unused mounting holes are mostly covered by the EVSE mounted on the wall of my garage. The actual electrical work appeared to be top-notch."
