In a relatively small space  their creative ideas and use of colors and patterns turned an eyesore into a place we can enjoy and share with family and friends. The project was completed in four days and a pool that was in close proximity was as pristine as the day the project started. The work is hard and tedious and we greatly appreciate their patience in answering our questions and keeping us informed on their progress, and what was coming next. Good folks, fun to be around. "The first crew that came out did a better job than the second crew. The first put the grass back nicely and really patted it in. The second crew listened to where we wanted the opening to be in the yard but they really did not pat the grass down as well as the first crew. The second crew also did not put the opening in the yard so it would be even - one side was higher than the other. Overall, we would use them again if needed."

"We are new to the area and were unsure who to call for yard clean up and dirt haul away after a fencing install. We came across Heath Outdoor LLC on Angies List and decided to give them a try after recieving two bids that were way out of the price range we were wanting to spend. They were very friendly and professional, and incredibly price competitive! We did not hesitate and booked our job with them right away. Four Avian Glen neighbors (Kelly, Shafer, Humbert, YA) received several bids to improve their low lying, very damp lawn areas.  Contractor was selected based upon price & visit discussion.  Per their contract, initial 50% down payment was provided up front, but then there occurred a four month delay in the work.  Communication responses were poor during that time as to the status of the beginning the work.

The "swamp" areas were fixed with a drainage solution that required installing gravel/drainage pipe under ground.  As identified by the contractor, dog electric fence line was cut as well as in ground sprinkler line.  Both repaired by original contractors per My Personal Gardner contract.  Then, My Personal Gardner came out, filled in dirt/stone and threw down grass seed as his final delivery.

Upon inspection by homeowners, all dirt areas had medium to large stones, the dirt levels were not even with surrounding grass areas and several places homeowners sunk 2-4 inches in the dirt.  Homeowners had to finish the landscaping of all dug areas by raking out the stones, leveling the dirt, filling in holes, leveling with 11 bags of top soil and spread new grass seed. 

So our neighbors agreed upon grade = C.    B=fixing drainage issue; D=communication/responsiveness; F=final lawn delivery.  We all thought since they had "Gardener" in their company's name they would leave each lawn area raked out, level and flat.  A Saturday afternoon by the neighbors of raking, tamping and spreading grass seed returned each area to its original level form.

"I had my old lawn removed and new sod laid. After removing the old grass they lightly raked some loose grass and stones. As they were getting ready to lay the new sod I asked about having It tilled to loosen the soil so the roots could better connect to the ground. You can’t lay new sod on hard ground and expect the roots to work their way through it. Tony, who was in charge of the job wasn’t pleased by my request but did till it, (because he knew I was right). I noticed some pieces that looked different and he said not to worry about it. It would all be ok after some water and a couple of weeks. Well, it wasn’t. Also , on the second day of finishing the job, someone else working in my house, who used to be a landscaper, pointed out the edges were not tight and some were overlapping other pieces. Tony was not at all happy hearing that. So a few days later after it was obvious the edges were dying and not tight, I had the other guy fix it. Still some of it was not surviving. Dave, the one who came originally to quote the job, came to look at it. In an email he said that there were a few “shoddy” areas and that I should have notified them right away and not let someone else work on it. I did notify them and Tony once again said not to worry about it, so the other guy, who had years of experience with sod worked on it. It would have been much worse it he hadn’t! So, Dave agreed to bring 5 pieces (they actually bought 6). I don’t know why they limited the number of pieces to fix their faulty work. It may have taken just a few more to do it right. Sod is very inexpensive per piece. They probably spent less than 75.00 to make a customer satisfied with a 2500.00 job. A few more dollars and a better attitude would have been nice. I would avoid them"
