Sometimes it's difficult for me to even get a quote for home services like this, and I was able to pick my preferred time for Jon to come out to quote the job. It was very easy. It was also no problem to get additional work quoted as the job was in progress. We will definitely plan on using University Painters again."

"I read other reviews for Townsley Contracting before calling Jim and I was not disappointed. He was both responsive and very helpful. We set an appointment for an overall check on the health of my roof which had been prompted by a new leak.  Jim arrived promptly at the day and time we had agreed upon.
He assessed the roof and also determined the cause of my leak which included digital photos of the various issues he found. At my request, he provided several levels of recommendations ranging from the "let's stop this leak now" to "what would a roof replacement look like?"
I appreciated Jim's low key approach to finding the right solution(s) that fit my budget. He did not try to hard sell an immediate roof replacement and even suggested some of the medium repairs could wait until I was ready to replace the roof in a year or two.
Based on my experience, I have already asked Jim for quotes on additional work and fully expect that he will be on my shortlist of go-to contractors.

"The experience of having a roof installed on a home that is attached to a neighbor has all the pitfalls that could negatively affect your relationship with your neighbor. As well as affecting the other neighbors because parking is at a premium at this city location. I’ve reached out to LHI, who I found here on Angie’s and had them come out and do an estimate. I was concerned that the money insurance company offered may not be enough. I let the estimator know the amount the insurance company offered and he said that they will make it work. I figured I will also ask for an estimate to repaint the remainder of our home since we are already redoing the kitchen and the dining room. I felt they were very reasonable in their pricing and I decided to let them do an entire house. They did a very good job and had we had any other painting work, I would not hesitate to hire them.
