"We had a great feeling from the moment we met John during our consultation and, even though Promax was a little more expensive then our other options, we chose Promax because John was just as excited about the project as us and we knew we would get great quality.  The original estimate for completion was three weeks, but it took two weeks and two days.  The last two days were only needed due to a design decision delay on my end.  If I had made a decision earlier, I feel confident all of the work would have been completed in 2 weeks.  <br /> Promax does most of the work themselves, but they do sub-contract for some of their services.  Geno was in charge of our project and he did an excellent job communicating when people would be here and any changes/updates that needed to occur.  Every single person who came to our house was friendly and professional.  Everyone cleaned up after themselves and they dealt really well with our two cats and our two small children, who were here for the last two days of work.  <br /> Promax is not necessarily the least expensive option, but I believe that you get what you pay for and the quality of work that we have is amazing.  We get so many great comments on everything that has been done and we have a lot of people ask us for contact information.  I am hard pressed to find one piece of the renovation that is my favorite, but the 7 foot wide barn door that Promax built and installed is truly stunning and quite the masterpiece of our basement.  <br /> I would most definitely recommend Promax to anyone who needs renovations done and when we plan any work in the future, I know exactly who we will call first."

"Our "only" negative comment about Ground Zero Shelters is that they do not come to a persons residence to give the sales pitch and demonstration. You must go to their showroom or see their product at a home show. This being said, we were extremely happy with the sales experience, reminders and installation of our shelter. They called about 10 days prior to the installation for a reminder, their installers called the day before and the morning of the installation to remind us that they would be at our home at the designated time. They showed up as promised and were completed with the installation in less than 1 1/2 hours time! Thank you Ground Zero!"

"I could not be happier with my experience with Baney Construction. From the time I contacted them for an estimate to the time my roof was completely replaced was less than two weeks.  <br />  I originally contacted Baney Construction just for an estimate to replace my roof. I had no intention of contacting my insurance company for a replacement roof. I was informed by Baney that I had hail damage and I should contact my homeowners which I did. The person who informed me to contact my insurance company meet the claim person personally and made sure this was covered by my homeowners. That same day my insurance company contacted me and informed that my roof was being covered, a full replacement. From then it was less than 10 days and my roof was replaced in just one day. Full ripoff, repair and a new roof installed. The workers were on time and informed me what was being done before the work was started. The individual who gave me the estimate originally stopped by three times that day to make sure everything went as planned. I have no issues with the work it looks great and I would use them for other work. It was a pleasure doing business with this company. <br /> I will now be contacting them to replace the siding which I planned on doing next year. Since the roof was covered by my insurance company I now will be able to replace the siding this year which makes me very happy. <br />"

"Ernie Haas provided a very thorough examination of our roof which enabled us (after much back and forth with our roofer (DCF Contracting)) to ensure that all necessary and required repairs were made to our roof. Mr. Haas stayed in contact with us for more than a month to ensure that any questions or issues we had were addressed."

"Called Arteman's on a rainy day in November, he happened to be available so he came right over.  The other company had left our house with no front entry door, because they just replace doors.  Arteman was a hero that day!  He replaced the rotten beam under the threshold.  He also noted that the tiled entry way was incorrectly installed (previous owner's DIYproject) and he removed the tile as it was sitting on water damaged particle board and interfering with the repair of the threshold. <br /> The company we bought our door from finished installing the door. <br /> We called Arteman's again, because there was a gap between where the door had been installed and where the stoop steps were, leaving his repair exposed.  He came over, within a day or two and filled the gap with a some type of sealer.  The area is not leaking and with this crazy winter we're so grateful for his good work. <br />   I do have a minor gripe though, we wanted him to install new tile for us since our landing now was just plywood since he had taken up the old tile.   I went to the store he recommended to get tile, but none of the tile there appealed to me.  I purchased tile at Lowes.  When he saw the tile, he told us that he wouldn't be able to put it in for another three months.  That seemed like a dodge to me. If he didn't want to put it in, I would have appreciated just a simple "no."  But to be fair he had fit us into his schedule in an emergency and I'm grateful.  Anyhow, I couldn't wait, because to paraphrase the Stark's, "Winter was Coming."  I put it in myself, apparently our landing is homeowner DIY territory.  <br /> All in all Arteman's was great to work with.  Showed up when he said he would.  Completed the job in a quick period of time.  Charged appropriately. <br />"
