I hired Schmitty's to remove an old double bowl kitchen sink and faucet with a new single bowl sink and upgraded faucet. There was no upselling or attempts to convince us to replace our garbage disposal which two of the other plumbers recommended we do. We saw no reason to replace our disposal which functions well and is not that old. Partners Drake and Gage came out to our home as scheduled, and they got to work immediately working efficiently and thoroughly. We appreciated their no-nonsense, honest, prompt service, and very fair pricing. I chose Schmitty's based on the positive customer reviews, and would hire them again. I told them I would recommend them to all my friends who have plumbing needs!"

"Zach and his crew were amazing! Our old water heater sprung a massive leak at 2:00am on a Saturday morning. Contacted Zach at 7:30am and he called right back and was here within the hour. Not only did we replace our water heater with a tankless model, but also moved it from the second floor to garage. Zach did all of this on a Saturday for a flat fee!! Hot water tank replacement both electric and gas, re-plumbing a house, finish trim such as vanity, bathrooms, kitchen sink, etc. Installing clean out for mainline side sewer, scoping and clearing obstructions for mainline side sewer, digging down and replacing clogged side sewers. What is impressive and important to me is the sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality of work. In my 20 years of looking after houses, Nathan is by far the best plumber I?ve ever worked. "We live in a daylight basement of a 3 story home we share with family members. We had a ceiling leak and didn't know whether to call a plumber or hvac professional. On advice from a friend, I went with a plumber who we found through Home Advisor - Platinum Plumbing. They came the next day, lifted the ceiling tile to determine the location of the water leak. They determined it wasn't a plumbing leak, but an hvac leak. They informed me that the original contractor had never sealed the hvac pipe coming from the stove exhaust fan vent from the floor above. They said that condensation from that vent was the reason for the water leakage. Though it wasn't technically a plumbing problem, they offered to seal the hvac pipe with a sealant preventing future condensation leaks. They charged me $140 which was the hvac fee which was lower than a plumbing fee. I am pleased! They gave me names of 2 local hvac repair companies if we needed. For future plumbing issues, we will not hesitate to call Platinum Plumbing again. We have learned to trust the professionals we have used from Home Advisor. Home Advisor is our "go-to" resource now."

"HIired Serge Home Improvement, i for a partial remodel of the kids bath-new shower surround and flooring. During the time, I got the bid and he started work, the laundry room flooded and I asked if he could work on that too. Serge worked with the insurance adjustor and myself to bring the bid in at the insurance companies expectations. He had the laundry room up and running in a couple of days, with lovely new trim. This was a huge relief, as I had now washer for 2 weeks and laundry was piling up. Most of the bids I got for the bathroom work were in $15-$20K or more range. Serge's costs were reasonable and we agreed on what he'd provide and what I'd provide-tile and surround. When asked why the tub should be replaced he explained he wanted to make sure the plumbing was correct. He was right about that, the previous owner had "tiled" himself and done the plumbing. It was mess but Serge fixed it. Furthermore, he used lots of water proofing which gave me peace of mind as the kids splash like crazy. In 2 weeks, the bathroom was finished, and ready to use. I had him re-caulk my tub, and replace light fixtures in the dinning room and family room. It cost a small bit more than I budgeted, but having done remodels in the past I expected that. We are thrilled with the updated bathroom and new light fixtures. I a already discussing future projects with Serge. The best thing about Serge is his doesn't do mind doing projects on your house off and on. My previous contractor stopped taking my projects, because "projects to small and piece meal". Thankfully, Serge doesn't have that attitude."

"Jason and Henry crawled  through a very unpleasant 3' space between our first and second floor to find out that there was a double ptrap install and the vent line just venting into open space. They corrected the plumbing, installed a studer cap and brought everything upto code (fixing the bad smell) problem.

I really appreciate there willingness to belly craw into a tight space to solve the problem without having to cut a hole in the celling.

They came in just under what they estimated it to cost. Showed up promptly and were professional. This is the second time I have used Cahill's Plumbing and have always had a good experience.
