"We used ASP to replace all windows of our house, new french doors to the patio, and new front door - so all in all a fairly large project. Peter was a fantastic counterpart from a Sales perspective, honest opinions and responsive throughout the process. Raudis and team did a great job on the installation. All minor issues that were brought up on project completion were addressed in a quick and professional manner. I hope I get the chance to work with ASP again."

"My parentâ s home on Sanibel Island was decimated @ the end of September 2022 by Hurricane Ian, requiring my immediate engagement in the restoration effort as a Florida Certified General Contractor (CGC 1525307). After a litany of truly miserable site visit experiences with a host of clowns impersonating fenestration system (i.e., building envelope windows and doors) contractors, I was fortunate enough to secure a glowing referral from the owner of a commercial engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) firm who had worked with Michael Sorrell @ Hurricane Management Group across several complex project efforts. My experience since then has been nothing short of spectacular, ranging from a (i) critical site evaluation of the legacy fenestration system that discovered a host of air and vapor penetration issues to (ii) presentation of options ranked by anticipated return of investment driven by wind and impact resistance ratings. Over the course of developing the window and door schedule, Michael demonstrated deep domain knowledge that I found incredibly refreshing in striking the optimal balance between (i) capital investment and (ii) system performance. Michael patiently answered the many questions fielded his way from my feeble mindset with kind patience, quiet respect and obvious expertise. As a (i) Certified General Contractor and (ii) Licensed Professional Engineer, I have high expectations from purveyors of the construction trades that are seldom met in both the commercial and residential arenas, given the dearth of true talent and attention to detail across the â Wild West Showâ that best describes current Florida Market Segments. Hurricane Management Group defies that norm, as they are simply loaded with technical talent that was readily apparent over the course of the recently completed installation of the fenestration system throughout my parentâ s Sanibel Home. Even in the eyes of my jaded judge of quality that have so often been bitterly disappointed in the past by a seemingly endless parade of â clown shows,â masquerading as bona fide players, I found the completed work in place to set new standards for my definition of â best in class.â In my humble opinion, there are none better on the fenestration system competitive field than Michael @ Hurricane Management Group."

"On the initial phone converstion, Nick quoted me a price of $145 for the replacement of one door and if I needed another door replacement it would be $135.  In addition, if I needed track replacement or door handle there would be additonal cost.
Nick showed up puntual and was VERY professional and considerate  (obviously he's not from Florida or New York).  He told me NOT to do the 2nd door and NOT to replace the track.  WOW, who does that ?
He was deliberate, meticulous, and charged me the $145 that was initially  quoted !
Door works great, I'm good to go......

"This is our 2nd home and Danny worked with is to find the best solution for our needs. He was extremely flexible. Jose did an excellent job on site for measurements and installation. They had to be installed when we were not on site and I had no problems. They were even flexible in installing to door at a later date to accommodate some other work that was going on. Claudia was extremely efficient in scheduling and working around times that were requested. Very pleased!"

"Tri County Windows and Doors did an amazing job on my home! From start to finish, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They helped me choose the perfect windows and doors, and I could instantly feel the difference in insulation and noise reduction once everything was installed. The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and left the place spotless. The quality of the materials is excellent, and everything looks beautiful and modern. What impressed me most was their attention to detail and great customer service. They were always quick to respond to my questions and made the whole process stress-free. Highly recommend if you’re looking for reliable, high-quality window and door installation!"

FAQs for doors (exterior) installation and replacement projects in Key Largo, FL

Modern steel doors incorporate protective coatings and finishes that significantly reduce rust potential. These treatments create effective moisture barriers when properly maintained. Small scratches or damage should be promptly addressed with touch-up paint to prevent moisture from reaching the underlying metal.

Doors in coastal or high-humidity environments benefit from additional protective measures and more frequent inspection. With proper care, most steel doors resist corrosion for decades.

Steel doors provide superior resistance against forced entry attempts compared to fiberglass alternatives. The inherent strength of steel creates a formidable barrier that resists impacts and tampering more effectively than composite materials.

While high-quality fiberglass doors offer reasonable security, steel provides an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and structural integrity. For maximum protection, look for steel doors with reinforced strike plates and multi-point locking systems.

Most manufacturers provide warranties covering manufacturing defects for periods ranging from five to 15 years, depending on the product line and quality tier. Hardware components often carry separate warranty coverage, often for shorter durations. Installation services may include workmanship guarantees covering proper fitting and operation. Always review warranty documentation carefully to understand coverage limitations and maintenance requirements that might affect warranty validity.

Provided your existing wood frame remains structurally sound and properly aligned, professional installers can often adapt a steel door to fit. The process requires careful measurement and potentially minor modifications to accommodate the new door's specifications. The frame must provide adequate support for the heavier steel door construction. A qualified installer will evaluate your current frame's condition and recommend appropriate adjustments to ensure proper function and security.
