"I have used 4 different cleaning companies. I've had the same problem. They come that first time and they do great and impress but then every time they continue coming after that it's like they get lazy and they stay shorter amounts of time and it's almost like they take my home being clean already for granted like I can't tell when somethings been dusted or not . I've had belongings stolen also. Legendary/ Jessica has been my one and only for years now. She is consistent never slacks off just because shes been coming so long. She is trustworthy and dependable. I can't imagine not having her! As a single mother it is like gold when you have someone you trust coming and taking that load off ya. The best ever !!!"

"They never showed up & told me later (the next day) they had a flat (okkk) but no one called me & if so DID NOT leave message! My husband & I were home ALL day waiting for something to happen- nothing did. She (Molly) said all 3 of their phones stopped working! (Really - ALL 3). But...according to Molly (she told Jenny) she had called us plus texted us! Did not happen. The number for us she did have was our land line - no way you can text to a land line!! Then Jenny got in on it, said she had been trying to call - again my husband and I were both home.....no calls (except for the normal “robo” calls we get daily). She did leave a message but spoke SO fast I could not understand the return number. Honestly. So this turned into an argument on the site (not ugly). She said/I said, etc. Needless to say, there will be no house cleaning done by them. I NEVER LIED TO THEM ABOUT THE PHONE CALLS (OR LACK THEREOF) AT ANY TIME. TOO BAD THIS SMALL INCIDENT TURNED INTO SUCH A MESS."

FAQs for post construction clean up projects in Kiln, MS

Plan on one hour of cleaning for every 100 to 200 square feet. That means a two-to-four-person crew will spend eight to 12 hours on a full-size home.

Your pro will walk the space first, size it up, and give you a more precise timeline to be sure every lofty ceiling, baseboard, and tight corner gets the same white-glove attention.

Cleaning fine dust after construction requires a combined approach of detailed dusting and high‐powered vacuuming. Begin by wiping high surfaces such as ceiling fans, walls, window sills, and countertops to eliminate deposited particles. Next, vacuum all floors, carpets, and hard surfaces and mop afterward to remove residual dust. Finally, clean HVAC returns, supply vents, and replace filters to ensure a completely dust‐free environment.

You’ll need safety gear and heavy-duty tools. At minimum, you should wear a respirator, eye protection, and work gloves. Then, bring in a HEPA-filter shop vac, wet mops, microfiber cloths, and a carpet shampooer to lift dust from every surface.

Pros also keep extra filters and trash bags on hand so they can swap them out mid-job and keep the cleanup running smoothly from start to finish.

Book your post-construction cleanup for one to two days after the last tool leaves the site. That 24- to 48-hour buffer lets dust settle so the crew can snag every speck in one visit.

Touch base with your contractor before you lock in a date; if their punch-list slips, you’ll want to shift the cleaning slot to avoid costly rescheduling and make sure the house is truly move-in ready.
