"1. I was given incorrect information on the phone; I was told the team would show up ready to work. They didn't. They showed up to do nothing more than take pictures and notes and discuss the job so a P&E guy could work up the estimate. That's OK, except that's not what I was told on the phone.  And they were over 30 minutes late. <br /> 2.  No one ever called back. <br /> 3.  I finally called them, reminded them about the job and asked if someone was going to call, left my name and contact number (again).  I was told someone would contact me. No one ever called, again.  If you're that busy, great, at least call. <br /> Because I thought I was doing business with Scudder, I didn't call other roofers, so I ended up getting more water into my house from the leaks that I called them about. <br /> Terrible customer service and follow-through. <br /> <br /> Update: Please see my comments in the "What did the provider do?" section.  No company is perfect, and Mr. Scudder's response to my experience turned me around on using Scudder Roofing in the future."

"The service went well. They were able to clean the parts of the home I needed cleaned within the 4 hour time frame. Two people came out for the service and brought their own cleaning supplies. The vacuum they did use did not clean the rugs very well. They did have to come out quite a way to get to me so I would not hire them again because of how much the travel fee would be. They did fine work and I had no problem scheduling the service."

"Great experience from A-Z. The company met with me, explained products, and made recommendations. As a single women, my concern is that I will be taken advantage of and treated differently then a male customer would be-this was not the case. I was treated respectly and all my questions were fully answered. A board with shingle samples was left for me for several weeks so I could ensure the color sample selected was what I really wanted. When it came time for the roof replacement, they coordinated with R and S sheet metal for the furnace and duct replacement. At my request, they spot checked the attic insulation to see if there were any spots needed additional coverage. The crew was very professional and cleaned the work site each day. They started promptly and worked hard. I was provided with daily progress reports. They also installed a light tunnel for my hallway. The new roof look great and I truly appreciate the level or workmanship and professionalism exhibited by this company and their employee.
