"(Updated May 2013)  I love Bakkers Acres!  They have done many, many different jobs for me (and for my neighbors, who initially recommended them) over the last 5 years.  The guys work very hard and the results are always very beautiful and professional.  And if they can't do a job, they will say so and give good recommendations as to who can do the work. <br /> My experience with Bakkers Acres started with landscaping, about 6 years ago.  The old house I had purchased had ugly, diseased plantings in front and it really needed a major overhaul.  I worked with Mr Bakker to give him a general description of what I wanted, and he came up with a very nice design which was soon implemented.  The plants/trees were healthy and beautiful.  Over the years, I had some additional areas landscaped which also turned out well.  They took down some small to midsize trees for me too, as well as doing seasonal cleanups and mulching each year.    <br /> But they can do more than landscaping.  A couple years back I needed some pet fencing installed to make a very large, wooded, safe pet enclosure, and they were willing to take on the challenge.  The fence was partly freestanding but also had to be attached to the house, the carport and a cinder block retaining wall.  They even fabricated/welded special parts to secure the fencing properly to the carport, and secured brown flashing to trees near the fence to keep some "houdini" cats from escaping..   The project turned out great.  So I had a second fenced area added last year after they made major improvements to the area's drainage, including piping that was installed under the driveway to redirect the water safely into the woods.  They repaired the driveway nicely afterwards.  One thing that really impressed me was the extra thought and care that went into the fence installation -- even though the manufacturer's fence design has the gates supported by the mesh fencing itself, they recommending design modifications for improved safety and security of my beloved pets.  I really, really appreciated that. <br /> As of 2013, Bakkers Acres also takes care of my lawn mowing/trimming, and my neighbor's too.  As always, top quality work and most important for me, I can trust that they are very careful that none of the outdoor pets escape. <br /> Working with Bakkers Acres is great.  I have peace of mind about safety of my outdoor pets, complete confidence that any job will be done right, and the icing on the cake is that the work is done at a reasonable price."
