Their opinion held the most weight and was quite honest in their recommendations. When work was scheduled showed right up on time. Sent pictures of their work and called to answer any questions. "So-so experience. Job was bid and performed in the depths of the recession - I think he priced it so low that he needed to cut corners. Plus: did job quickly, when scheduled. Old roof was removed with only medium amount of mess. New roof went on OK. He did an OK job installing a skylight in the new roof. Minus: He reused the old gutters, which I would not recommend anyone else do - they were pretty battered by the time they had been removed and replaced. Some of them still don't drain right. Here's the worst part: on the last day, one of his guys fell off the roof. My wife was in the dining room and saw him bounce off our back stairs and land on the grass. Fortunately, he didn't seem to be badly hurt, as he ultimately landed on boggy grass. However, Scheinfeld, when told about this, took more than an hour to show up, and the injured worker called us a few days later asking for our homeowner's policy info, thinking that we would be paying for his medical care - can you believe it? I run a small business and am very familiar with the concept of Workmen's Comp - no telling what was going on between Scheinfeld and his workers, but something seemed to be very, very wrong. A couple of our gutters still don't drain right, despite several calls to have them adjusted. But the roof no longer leaks."

"Mr. Parker took the time to show me photos of the likely reason(s) why my roof was leaking. He also agreed to repair the roof the same day he came out to evaluate the problem. This was a relatively minor job and I cannot yet be certain it is fixed since we have not had significant rainfall. Nevertheless, Mr. Parker was very professional and I fully expect he will stand by his repair services should some minor adjustments be needed."
