My AC was blowing too cold. he found that the capacitor was a bit weak. but instead of trying to upsell or overcharge me, he adjusted it and made sure everything was running smoothly without charging me a dime. That kind of honesty and integrity is rare these days!"

"I called James on Monday, he came out, diagnosed and removed the gas valve from my 21 year old furnace. While diagnosing he explained how and why everything worked. He offered to loan me a couple of space heaters for the night. I declined as I had my own. He came back Tuesday with a new valve and I have heat again. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. He takes pride in his work. If I have any HVAC issues in the future Air Nerds will be the first place I call."

"The actual work was satisfactory and the technician was very polite. What I resented was their dishonest way of jacking up the price. I was very clear on the phone about what I wanted done and was quoted a price of $119.00. When the technician arrived he told me that his invoice only specified 1 flight of stairs and that doing both flights would raise the price to $149.00 and that adding an area meant that I lost the $20 discount for a total bill of $169.00! I argued with them and asked for a manager. After a long wait they told me that they'd listened to the tape of my initial call and that I had made myself clear. They agreed to the original price although I still lost the discount! By this time, I told them to go ahead with it. Later I looked for reviews online (which I should have done earlier) and found that the often used these tactics to inflate the price. DON'T HIRE THESE PEOPLE! They are thieves and con men!"
