"Blake responded quickly and assessed the issue I had with my deck rail cable system. He ordered the parts and was back the day after he received them. Cable system repaired perfectly. I would hire Blake again for any construction related issue I have. Thanks!"

"Great! Initial job was for one day but since I had so much work took a day and half. They did great work, cleaned up and smoothed up the yard where the trees had fallen and damaged the yard. Would definitely hire again."

"The guys at Quality Contractors reflect the title in their name. I recently had a concrete driveway poured at my rental house. Quality has done work for me before, and despite a few days' delay due to weather, once again they showed up on time, and worked steadily to complete the project in a single day. They later returned to do some finishing touches to the drive to enhance its quality. The Quality personnel also cleaned up the work site before they left, which was much appreciated. I highly recommend Quality Contractors for all your concrete project needs."

"A+++  Steve replied promptly to my inquiery for a work estimate.  His estimate was lower than my other one, but what really got my attention were the steller reviews on Angie's List from his past customers - including someone needing the same work I did!  Steve (and his co-worker) was courteous, friendly and really listened to what I needed and liked.  The chimney he had to rebuild (it was about to fall down I think!) had a chimney pot on the top.  It was there when I bought the house 23 yrs ago.  For those who don't know what chimney pots are, they are decorative terra cotta "extensions" of the chimney.  They come in a variety of designs/heights and are becoming more popular in the US (much more prevalent in the UK).  It lent a certain charm to the house and I really liked it.  However, it had a lot of crazing (visible cracks) and I figured it would fall apart when the chimney was dismantled.  These are very expensive to replace and was not an option for me - so I thought it was gone.  Steve was able to remove this chimney pot and reinforce it with cement so that it could be reinstalled on the new chimney!  Looks great and I'm so happy to be able to keep it.  I so much appreciate his taking the extra step to retain this charming characteristic of my home.  If I ever need masonry work again you can be sure I'll be calling Steve's masonry!"

"My yard looks incredible.  It has never looked as good as it does now.  These guys say what they mean, mean what they say, and deliver more than you will expect.  I was amazed and that is not an easy task.  Since that time I have hired them to maintain my lawn for the entire year.  I have also contracted them to clean up the corner lot in my neighborhood that I bought because it was ugly.  It is no longer ugly.  It rocks! <br /> It was funny, the patriarch of the company gave me a hard time for the way I butchered the trimming of my very expensive Japanese Maples.  I completely respect that.  The truth is the truth and I definitely stink at it.  Next year, it is in his hands.  How often do you just get the truth and not a lot of smoke blowing BS?  As long as I own this house, I will rely on them to make the land look beautiful!  <br /> I get compliments from my neighbors on a regular basis about how good my yard looks.  Honey Do is the best! <br /> Tyler Teague <br />"

"Showed up late, but worked hard until well after dark. Did not get all leaves and debris out of the beds, but the edging and mulch was well- applied. I have also had them re-design and completely transform my back yard, and this work was done without compare. I LOVE my yard now. It was a mass of poison ivy and sasafrass trees- now it is an oasis. Thanks to Tim's designs, this was an amazing transformation (that was about $28,000). But worth it. <br />"

"<br /> Daniel stays busy so he can be hard to speak to on the phone.  But he works like a dog and he has a good eye for detail.  He catches what his crew misses and gets it done correctly.  He took on a much larger project than he'd ever done before and did a good job of cleaning and staining the logs for a 4,000 sq ft house and  cleaning the roof.  Hopefully, it will be a few years before I need to use professional steam cleaning services again but i will call Daniel first. <br /> <br /> I also found him to be a man of excellent character and extreme honesty . . . which unfortunately is too rare nowadays.  <br /> <br /> Finally, Daniel is a bit of a jack-of-all-trades so he can see problems that you may not even be aware of.  In my case, he pointed out how a disconnected gutter was dropping a hard flow of water on the logs and washing away the stain. <br />   <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Kingsport, TN

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
