"Poorly. Old Castle exceeded the one month estimate and completion took 3 1/2 months. They exhibited poor communication skills, were unresponsive and careless, significantly damaging our existing bathroom vanities, kitchen cabinets, kitchen sink and failed to cover our outdoor terrace, left caked up cement and adhesives on the surface which therefor needs repair/repainting. We eventually agreed a resolution with them but they did not do any of the agreed repairs to our vanities. We have never posted a negative review on social media but strongly recommend that you select a different contractor."

Hence, Design Resources.

"My experience with Liz was very poor. Early on she showed us a nice design and what we thought was a fair price. She represented herself as the designer and project manager. She brought in a GC that we were told she would manage. We gave Liz all of the specs for the appliances that we picked out. Once the renovations started we figured out very quickly that she did not factor in the specs on the appliances that we had ordered. On the install date of the appliances not one appliance could be installed because she did not have the space ready and to spec. She was not managing the contractors and she became very difficult to get to respond to questions or concerns. Thankfully the GC stepped up and took control of the situation. She also drew us a very nice built in refrigerator and wine fridge cabinet but what was installed was not what she had showed us. It was radically different. She refused to take responsibility for it so we released her and had to find another contractor to step in and finish it. Over all we had to pay much more than we expected, the project did not go smoothly at all, and we did not get the service or the result that we expected. This was not a small job, all in it was over $100K. I have never dealt with a less professional person."

"Rob was absolutely the best plumber we've used to date. We had 3 plumbers try to repair our water heater, all with incorrect information and incredibly expensive fixes. On a Saturday afternoon I called to leave a voicemail (not anticipating a reply), only to have Rob pick up the phone and help me fix (for free) the problem with the water heater (navigated it using pictures I sent). Again, he did this without even a visit or wanting a payment, just to be kind. Even after that, he texted randomly a few days later to make sure we still had hot water. He also knew what the other 3 plumbers did not and helped us with our issue. When we had to replace the water heater a month later, he was incredibly professional, on time, covid safe, and made sure we were up-to-speed. He even further fixed other small issues without charge. To say Rob is classy is an understatement and I could not recommend his expertise and company more!"

"A shower leak welcomed me home from a New Year’s vacation with a large stain on the ceiling in the living room and an unusable shower in the primary bathroom. Several weeks later after a back and forth with my insurance company I was able to get the bathroom and ceiling repaired! Enter my friends at BDM Residential Remodeling They came in, found all of the trouble especially after the insurance adjuster didn’t even look up into the ceiling and worked with me to fix all of the previous problems and give me a bathroom that’s magazine ready! Bret Mellen Jennifer Reisman Slutzky and the entire BDM team were easy to work with, professional and went out of their way to listen to me and give me the bathroom of my dreams. This company started during the pandemic while I was pursuing my university degree. Tough times create great leaders, and in rare cases, companies like ours emerge. We managed to target potential clients who needed home renovations. As people spent many days at home, they noticed the need for a new interior design, furniture, or changes that would meet the new reality of the pandemic and could be aesthetically functional for their homes. That's where we came in, and we'll continue to meet all of our client's requirements.
