"When ever I need a project done I always get 3-4 quotes. I am about to save the next person time and trouble. I did interview four companies. Non of them could compare to Gifford fence company. Jerry Gifford responded right after my call to his company. We met, I explained my plan, he agreed with most except one small section where he said the city would not approve, so we found a way to fix it so it would work. He explained what materials they would be using and how it would be built on premises. All of it was just what I was looking for. Then he quoted the price, which was under the other three quotes. We scheduled a date for installation, but the city had a back log and my permit hadn't been approved. Jerry call again and get it moving and a new date was set. The crew arrived on the scheduled date and time. Foreman Rick, workers Bryson and Stetson. What a team they are! They got busy, and worked non stop. To watch them was beautiful. Very professional. The work was completed in three and half days. I found a small part that needed repairing from my old fence and Rick called Jerry and it was done a week later, no problem. I couldn't have asked for a better job or better communication or cooperation. If you want your job done right, on time and at a reasonable price, forget the others and call Gifford Fence Company! "Although it took a couple of weeks to get the estimate for the work, the final result was well worth it! I had my old 6' wood fence replaced with a 6' board on board wood fence w/ 6" pickets (approximately 280 ft worth to include one gate). The cost of the tear down was lowest in the quotes I received, and the cost of the fence was comparable to others (though it was the lowest cost). The team of 3 that showed up for the tear down arrived about 1.5 hours later than expected, but worked efficiently to complete the tear down of the wood panels in one day. On the second day, the team of 2 built the new fence board by board. Their attention to detail is commendable! I am extremely pleased with the results."
