We’re in the business of restoring the Wow! back into your natural stone and tile surfaces.\nNatural stone and tile grace most homes and buildings. And rightfully so. It adds beauty and value unmatched by all other choices. But, after a while, floors can get a build-up of dirt or topical treatments or become dull and scratched from foot traffic. Grout can become embedded with soils and harbor unsanitary bacteria growth. Showers can accumulate mildew, soap film and hard water deposits. Countertops can become stained or etched.\n\nWhen this happens, Marble Perfect can clean, polish, refinish and restore your marble, granite, limestone, travertine, and other natural stone, and your porcelain or ceramic tile and grout surfaces to like new.\n\nAnd to protect them from future staining, we can SEAL your stone or grout, too.\n\nWe won’t leave it there, though. We make sure to EDUCATE our customers on proper stone and tile care. We’ll leave you with instructions and recommendations for products that will SAFELY and effectively clean and maintain your investment.

"The work was scheduled within a week of signing the contract. It was due to rain the day the work was scheduled so the owner called to ask if I wanted to reschedule due to the weather. He was concerned that the ground would be very soft and the bobcat they were using might disturb the turf more than necessary. I sincerely appreciated the call and we agreed to reschedule for the following week.
The workers arrived on schedule and were very polite and accommodating. A day or so after the work was completed we had a bad wind and rain storm and a large rhododendron that was moved fell over. I called them that evening and they were out the next day to re-stake the plant.
I should also mention that the final price came in under their estimate particularly after the Angie's discount was applied. Overall, I am very impressed with this company. They are very professional and do quality work. I plan to use them again in the spring for some other landscaping needs.
"

"
The project went well overall. When they tore up the old asphalt, we discovered that the gravel base was of better quality than we thought, so it could stay in place. They guys brought in more gravel to raise the bed back up to where it should have been. (The drive was about 30 years old and had sunk a couple of inches.)

They put a 2 inch layer of rough asphalt, then another inch of finish layer on top of the gravel base. They provided some instructions about not driving on it for a couple of days. We did some web research and got more detailed instructions for new asphalt - we want this to last another 30 years, so we're going to baby it for a while.

They were amenable to doing other little odd jobs for us, like using their Cat to take stones from an old wall to our backyard and to remove an old cement slab and rocks from where our front steps were. They were also happy to take topsoil removed from one edge of the drive to other places on our property to fill in holes.

I would have liked better communication around when they would come to do what. They had planned to just drop off equipment on a Wed evening then do the job on Thurs/Fri. Instead, they came on Wed afternoon ready to remove the old drive. It's a good thing we were home and were able to change our plans for that afternoon.

I don't want to ding them too much for communication, because I understand that outdoor work like this depends on the weather. So, maybe these sorts of surprises are just normal.

The guys were pleasant and professional. A couple of them smoked while working, but they get points for not leaving butts in the yard.

UPDATE: First rain storm, and we have some puddling at the end of the driveway. Nowhere as bad as with the old driveway, but one of the main goals in replacing the pavement was to eliminate all puddles at the end. So, a little disappointing.

UPDATE 2: First snow storm, and this driveway is way easier to clear than the old one. No frozen lake at the end. I'm sure we'll have puddles on either side of the end still.

UPDATE 3: Spring 2015. The driveway is still quite soft, and parking in the driveway during the day creates car "footprints" in the tar. It's not even that hot yet. We're continuing to baby it, and move the cars off the driveway during the day. It's still a little ridiculous that it's so sensitive.
"

"The basement floor had water damage from a very heavy rainstorm. My husband and I removed the carpeting. The area is over 1000 sq. ft. We got several prices for this job. Most companies tried to over sell us products and services we did not want. Jason gave us a fair price and did the job as quickly as possible. He understood exactly what we wanted and delivered. It is a beautiful floor. This can be a messy job but they moved fast and cleaned up after themselves each day. He returned our calls and emails quickly. We had lots of questions and he took them time to answer them all. The job took about 4 days from start to finish. Had we tackled this ourselves it would have taken us a month!
We had other issues with our bulkhead walls. They repaired them without costing us much more in materials. I would definitely use Woods again. Maybe when we redo the pool decking?

"

"Bernard and his workers did a great job, took a little longer than we expected because of scheduling conflicts. They removed old broken up concrete floor and about 8 " of dirt from under. Then installed 8" of crushed stone and a reinforced 4" concrete floor over, and finished with a sealer. Finished floor looks great, and they did a complete clean up. Haven't driven on it yet as it has been less than a week. I would hire again for any concrete work."
