"We were not please at all. We were surprised at the cost over $6,900.00 (1/2 on the day the contract was signed and the balance upon completion.) We signed the contract on February 8, 2022. What was supposed to be done within 4-6 weeks extended to 3 months. The month of March, April, and May came in and no one ever called or communicated with us, unless we initiated the call(s) first. Our frustrations were: * No communication from the inspector or company when job could start. * Delayed in supplies. We understand that can happen, just keep us informed. * Called 1st week in April, 3rd week in April, supposed to start on Friday22 between 8-11, but had canceled because they had to finish previous job. We were compliant, no apology was given. Rained on Monday, started job on Tuesday. Young men started job, but had to stop due to mortar problems. They were very courteous and polite and explained the situation. They did what they could do to fix the problem, but had to inform the inspector of the situation. * Inspector came around 3:00 P.M. Gave us options. Another cost, but at this time we just wanted the job done. We were told that we had top priority as soon as the supplies were to come in the following week. A week and half had past. No further communication was noted. * Called May 9, 2022. Receptionist told us that we would be placed on the list for the following week. Another delay. We were not pleased. The inspection, who we signed the contract with told us that he could not help us because he had no control of the schedule. This was not acceptable to us as your customers. You got the money, let's finish the job. We were not happy with the service at all. On May 13, 2022, at 0945, Julius Gonzalez and his team saved your company from getting a 1 Star. They made a tremendous difference in handling this bad situation. My home looked like a disaster of an un-finished job of many months. Julian's mannerism, professionalism, and expertise in handling the job was very commendable. He was very polite and apologetic. He said that he was there for us and wanted us to be satisfied with the work that he and his team would be doing. There were no delays in the process in getting the job finish. They cleaned and vacuumed areas that dust had accumulated on the floors, fireplace, and hearth. I really appreciated their commitment to their job. Julian and his team exemplified competency, honesty, and integrity. Julian Gonzalez and his team deserves 5 Stars and a bonus! He did a job well-done. This what Customers Service is all about."

When Cesar and his crew came out to complete the agreed upon work, they were kind, professional, detail oriented, and highly skilled. "The job was done as specified in the contract in an efficient manner with high quality control at all stages. Johnny and Pepe removed old deteriorated pressboard siding on the upper level of a two story home and replaced it with James Hardie siding that follow all application procedures for warranty. All new siding and trim received two coats of Sherwin WiIlliams Emerald paint as recommended and other pre-primed surfaces got one coat. Johnny and Pepe not only have great skill in construction but also kept a clean worksite during the day. The project was inspected about every two days and any recommendations were implemented. "Shane Dayton has done repairs for me for several years and decided I wanted him to do a total exterior renovation to our two story house. We reached an agreement based on exterior was to look like a new house. All personnel, particularly Alphonso and David, and subcontractors provided excellent work performed on a timely basis and the appearance is that of a new house. There were only minor problems and were taken care of promptly. My career was in construction and know the different levels of quality. Shane's work is top level and will certainly work with him again."

"The whole process could not have been better! We called and made an appointment for estimate in July. Danny Boes came ( at appointed time) and explained the system and choices we had. We accepted the offer. We were told up front the start date would not be right away, but we also needed to have trees trimmed that were hanging over the roof, so we had plenty of time to prepare. Prior to start date John(?) came out to take measurements. The work started at the end of August and took about 2 weeks - rain delays! The workers were out here every day getting done what they could between rain storms! The workers were friendly and took time to answer my questions when I would go out to look at the work. They asked where they could place items they left here so they would not be in our way. The site clean-up after the roof removal was better than I expected and overall the clean-up was excellent. In some ways, the rain storms actually helped us. We had an area that was leaking and asked them to see if they could find the problem and fix - they found the problem and worked to fix (it had to do with our siding) - rains came...no leak!! The roof looks beautiful! Thank you Southwest Metal Roofing Systems."
