"Pinnacle installed my roof a year ago and a few days ago in a severe windstorm, the roof began peeling away from my home. I contacted Ty Robertson at Pinnacle and he immediately dispatched two men who despite the high winds secured the roof back on my home and will return again today to make further repairs. I really am impressed with the service and the professionalism of this company. I would definitely recommend their services."

"Ron inspected our roof quickly. The damage was minimal but he made some immediate repairs to ensure we didn't have any leaks or further damage. He worked closely with the manufacturer and the insurance companies throughout the process. It took a while because it was fire damage and the manufacturer had to determine how much to replace to protect our warranty. Once they made a determination, Ron replaced the front of our roof quickly and professionally. I have hired him for many other rental properties I manage and his company is always fast, professional, and well priced."

"I had an enclosed porch fitted with windows and a sliding door. The representative was knowledgeable and friendly. He helped us find the windows we wanted and gave us advice from his previous experience. The installation crew was on time, organized and professional. They took the time to make sure that the trim and causing looked good. My porch turned out great. I will use this company again and I highly recommend Lifetime Windows and Siding."

"Easy, professional, beautiful from beginning to end! From the moment my husband and I met the rep at the home show in Denver to the very last detail of clean up at our house, the people at Paramount were respectful, courteous, kind and helpful. The large picture window they replace in our home is beautiful! The only thing we had to do was move the furniture away from the area, they did absolutely everything else. The three men who did the install were on time, thoughtful in our home, and seemed to go above and beyond to finish the project with excellence. We are truly glad we chose Paramount and will go to them again with our next window or door need."

"I hired Lianro back in December of 2000 to replace my old shake shingle roof with a new stone-coated steel one. Their estimate for the work was very reasonable, and they did the whole job in less than a week. I've had zero leaks or problems of any kind since. The material is now 17 years old, and is only showing a little wear around some of the bends where the stone coating has flaked off due to hail, wind, snow, and workmen walking around on it. I am thoroughly pleased with the work that Lianro did and the materials they sell."

"Overall, it went well. Estimator came and did the estimate. I chose it as the lowest and because they've also been around a long time and were bonded, etc.
When it was time to set a date, they told me what date. I run a business in which everyone is an independent contractor and on roofing day, no one can sufficiently perform the kind of work we do (mixed psychotherapy and massage therapy), so I asked Swedes to work with me on a day when most of the people would be out anyway. Communicating through the front office was slightly rugged (the sec was good, but I was never just speaking directly and immediately to the decision maker), but worked out Well in the end.
I liked the crew a lot. They kept communication open with me, worked steadily and cleaned up the site well when they were done."

"I had an excellent experience with this company. They worked hard and cleaned up everything. I didn't have to do anything. They also were very polite and I especially enjoyed that they did not play loud music at the worksite. I would highly recommend them."

"We had another company originally, but Presidential said they could do all of the job and not have to sub contract. They have completed the roof on my house and garage, but due to the Wyoming weather they have to wait on the window flashing, screens, guttering and awning until the spring. None of those are something that is going to hurt anything to wait on for now. I was very impressed by them. They did forget to install my vents in the roof and their team bent one of my basement window wells, but they were out as soon as the weather got better and everything was repaired and a very good job on them. I am very satisfied."

FAQs for roofing installation & roof repair projects in Laramie, WY

An average Cape Cod roof-raising project requires approximately two to three months from start to finish. The timeline depends on several variables, including weather conditions, contractor availability, material delivery schedules, and the specific complexity of your home's structure. The process involves multiple phases, including demolition, framing, roofing, window installation, and interior finishing. Working with an experienced contractor who provides a detailed timeline can help set realistic expectations for the project duration.

While most Cape Cod homes can accommodate roof-raising modifications, each house requires individual structural assessment. Older homes may need foundation reinforcement or wall strengthening before supporting additional weight. Factors like the existing roof framing system, load-bearing wall placement, and overall structural integrity all influence feasibility. A qualified structural engineer should evaluate your specific property before proceeding with design plans. Additionally, local zoning ordinances may restrict maximum building height or architectural modifications in certain neighborhoods.

Temporary relocation is highly recommended during a Cape Cod roof raising project. The construction process involves removing portions of your existing roof, exposing interior spaces to potential weather damage, and creating significant noise and dust. Most homeowners find temporary accommodations for the two to three-month construction period, with relocation costs ranging from $2,000 to $6,000, depending on your housing choices. If staying with family or friends isn't possible, budget for short-term rental or extended-stay hotel expenses as part of your overall project cost.

Consider roof raising when you experience severely limited headroom throughout the second floor, find yourself constantly stooping under sloped ceilings, or have minimal usable floor space due to low ceiling heights. Other indicators include inadequate natural light, poor ventilation, and difficulty accommodating standard furniture in upstairs rooms. Simple renovations can improve an attic's appearance, but cannot create additional headroom without structural modifications. A complete roof-raising project makes more sense than cosmetic renovations if you're seeking genuine second-floor living space rather than just storage improvements.

Begin your search by seeking contractors with specific experience in Cape Cod structural modifications and dormer additions. Request detailed portfolios showing similar completed projects and ask for references from previous clients with comparable work. Verify that potential contractors hold appropriate licenses and insurance coverage and understand local building codes relevant to roof raising. Interview multiple candidates, comparing price quotes and their communication style, project approach, and proposed timeline. The ideal contractor should demonstrate a thorough understanding of Cape Cod architectural characteristics and structural requirements.
