It was difficult to find out a solid day they would start and once the posts were cemented in, no one told me when they would be back to finish the job. I would still hire them again as I was happy with the work but would recommend they put more effort in keeping the customer informed as to the status of the job."

Did all new framing and even got me a great deal on the fence boards from a local supplier rather than paying over double at the big box stores. I worked in construction as a finish carpenter, then in a cabinet shop before starting my own business. While working at Burger King, I got a Masters in Business Administration. I already had two years of engineering at Northeastern College then received a BS in elementary education and taught school in New England before entering the Navy. \nIn the late 1980's I went to work for Johnny Fence and later I bought Johnny Fence and operated it under another name. A few years later I started Up-Rite Fence Company. In 2005 we became a construction company.\n\nMary came to Whatcom County in 1979 and raised a family in Ferndale and Blaine while working at a nursing home for 18 years. Mary and I were married in 1997 and Mary took over office management, estimates and sales.\n
