"Bill was incredibly professional, pleasant to work with, on time and left my house cleaner than he found it. I had just purchased my first home and found a major error that the home inspector missed. Washing machine boxes/drains are meant to be a standard height and only so high off the floor because washing machines pumps are not designed to pump higher up and fight gravity. It can cause premature pump failure and void manufacturer warranties. My washer box was set almost 4 feet higher than standard because the last plumber apparently didnâ  t have any to add an extra pump to get the water above ground level/septic level. In an incredibly stressful situation, Bill got out to me quickly and came up with a perfect solution that allowed me to be confident that it wonâ  t ruin my new home or break my new washing machine."

"I used Angie's list and chose Matt's Plumbing because of his rating and the fact that his business was close to home.  Ever since our master bathroom sink was installed, it had a drain issue.  I tried to fix it, my brother-in-law, an all-around master repair person, tried to fix it, and I even had a service to remain nameless, tried with no result.  So disgusted with the having to wait an hour for the sink to drain, I turned to ole reliable, Angie's list and chose Matt.  Matt was right on time.  He called to ensure he had the right address.  When he entered, he immediately put on booties to cover his shoes.  I took him to the sink and had to fill the sink twice to demonstrate the fact that the sink would initially drain slowly but by the second filling, half way down, the drain started to bubble and then stopped draining.  Matt said that he needed some tools and went to work.  Later, he asked if we had access to the same drain pipe but we do not.  He worked on that drain for about an hour and a half before he called me in to say that the drain was repaired.  He was drenched in sweat saying that the drain was clogged at a connection and that it must have been a problem for some time because of all the gunk he was able to remove with his snake.  He said that he had to modify the snake to finish the job and the bottom line stoppage was a mass of hair.  That was strange because the other sink in the guest bathroom and the two showers plus the toilets worked as they should.  He was great and I would definitely call him again for any plumbing problem. When he finished, he had cleaned the sink and disposed of all the debris he had accumulated.  The bathroom was immaculate. He had quoted me a price and I told him that I had a coupon.  He made out the bill and took off the 15%.  At that point I would have not quibbled about the discount because he solved a major problem that had plagued us since we purchased the house.  If you have a plumbing problem, do yourself a favor and call Matt's plumbing.  You will be happy with his work.
