"I hired Ten Home to come in and repair/repaint several rooms in my home that were badly painted by a previous company. Tom and his staff are incredibly professional, clean, and very hardworking. Very quickly I had a walkthrough, discussed all potential jobs and had an estimate! They installed some baseboards, relocated a wall-mounted TV, installed 2 new ceiling fans, re-caulked the main bathtub/shower combo and fixed some issues with my vinyl plank flooring. Then the paint...they had to smooth all of the walls and sand down before repainting with the best quality paint. Ten Home really did transform my home into something I can be proud of again! Many painters were not open to both the wood repairs and the painting project, and Anthony was confident in the solutions he recommended and willing to stand by a firm quote. They completed the prep, painting, and the complex wood repairs well. They replaced a large section of siding, which was the most economical and best solution for the areas of deteriorated siding, and left the home looking great. They replaced part of one window sill on an older window, a whole area of siding, and trim and fascia on my porch. Upon removal of the rotted fascia, they found another rotted wood behind, and were able to fix that as well at a reasonable cost. The painting prep and painting was done with attention to detail. They also made a point to leave me with extra paint in case I needed in the future. From the initial quote, to the scheduling, to the completion of the job, they were organized, on time, and delivered on their commitments. Trustworthy, expert work throughout."

"Scott's a great guy, but not a professional painter. I found myself requesting a lot of touch-ups and re-do's, along with multiple requests for second coats of paint (which I made clear was agreed to at the outset of the engagement). I'm going to have to correct some of the work that was done, and add additional coats of paint here and there. Overall, I think the job was bigger than Scott realized at the beginning. However, Scott is very personable and a good dude. Hire him if you want a simple job done fast at a decent price. If you have a complex job, with a lot of drywall work, I recommend that you go with someone else."
