"Had these guys do a sliding door for me. The quality of the door and the install are fine however the work was a bit sloppy (I had to do quite a bit of touch up painting) and my outside lock did not arrive as ordered. They set up an appointment to fix the lock three days later and after waiting several hours they informed me they didn't have the part. Another day wasted. They finally fixed the problem 5 days later. The work is fine but I can't say my experience was solid given their hard sell about the professionalism of their company. There were lost of apologies but overall very frustrating."

"The back door of our home was from 1964, had a louver window and was completely rotten on the bottom. CSM fabricated a fiberglass door with low e window that opens including the frame and sill. Removing the old frame proved to be quite a task and once removed, the opening required modifications for the new frame to fit. The installation team was great - professional, courteous, skilled and cleaned up beautifully. Michael was very good to work with happily providing a quote and then altering the quote as requested. He even gave a cash discount on top of the Angie's List discount. I would use CSM again and recommend them highly.

"I have been working with Alan for years and he has always been very reliable and in some cases, a life saver. It's important to have people you can count on when you have residential units with tenants moving in and out, and Alan is always there when I need him. In this last situation I have had abuse of the use of the laundry room so Alan secured it for me as well as changing 2 locks on a move out. In the past he has installed special security gate locks as well as changing all my locks on my move outs, which has to be done immediately. He has even come to my house on a Sunday when I lost my house key. He does a great job, his prices are reasonable and I trust him implicitly. And he's a really nice guy."

"WOW JOB WELL DONE!!!, Chris Ross is awesome!!! The very same day I placed my job on HomeAdvsior, he called me from his last job of the day asking if he could stop by my house and check out the job requested. I explained how hard it was for my elderly mother who has severe arthritis to currently open and close the sliding door, I am disabled with a severe back injury that limits my mobility and strength. Chris was so great he offered to fix my door immediately, right then and now, and come back the next day with locking door suggestions for my job. It was after 6P.M. and I could see Chris was very tired from a long day, so we agreed he come back on the next business day with his locking suggestions too. Chris came back with his associate the next morning, replaced my broken wheels with these awesome smooth glide wheels, he also came up with a "FREAKEN" awesome locking suggestion that allows my Mother to lock and unlock the glass door with the best of ease. So not only did Chris repair my sliding glass door with new wheels which now slides open with the use of 1 finger and keeps rolling open or closed, my house is additionally secure on the sliding door with the new lock!!! I asked Chris if he also did sliding screen doors because I needed a screen door too, I had no screen door at all. Chris stated that he did'nt but had a great referal that he could give to me, now I have what seems like a brand new sliding glass door, a new lock, and a new screen door all thanks to Chris at Golden State Sliding Door Repair.
