"Todd and Jr. prepped and painted the exterior of my home. Also did some trim replacement work, and they also painted the deck, on the back of the house. Very professional, friendly, and diligent. Worked everyday (except Sunday, of course). until the job was complete. Cleaned up and hauled away all left over material(s) / garbage. House turned out looking great. I would definitely recommend WestPro Painting...!!! Thanks again Todd. I appreciate it."

"Painted deck and steps on the front of house, but missed a lot of area. Painted only the edges and lattice on back deck and again missed areas. I took photos of all the problem areas and they had to come back to fix it. When the lattice was reattached to the deck, a scrub brush enclosed under the deck. Found areas of red paint on blue."

"Kevin came out and took care of the siding on my home quickly and easily. He also repaired some dry wall inside my home as well. He was kind and professional and super flexible when plans changed. Absolutely great service."

"APA installed doors and trim on our remodel, as well as install LVP flooring throughout the house and tiled the bath surround. Everything looks great. They were easy to work with and completed the work on schedule. I will definitely contact them for our next project."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Lacey, WA

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
