"The owner, Andrei, responded promptly to fix my leaky roof that was installed a mere 5 years ago. He quickly assessed the problem area and within days he and his crew returned and made the repairs. Subsequent storms have proven that the problem was remedied and the work site made to look virtually untouched by the repairs. Throughout the process Andrei explained how the leak was able to develop and how he proposed to remedy the matter. In addition to the roofing repair Andrei went to great lengths to secure an identical match on vintage vinyl siding to repair areas of minor damage. Mid-Atlantic is highly recommended. I hope I don't have more roofing issues but if I do I know who I am going to call."

That was done (and cleaned up) plus the new roof installed in one day. Then and old wood siding was repaired in many places, all walls were covered with Tyvek moisture barrier, and the new siding, a new window, eave vents and even a new spotlight fixture (which I provided) was installed in a matter of 2 days. "First, let me complain about roofers in general. They seem uninterested in doing repairs and just want to do a whole new roof, which is very expensive. They don't return calls and even when they do, they often don't come out to look things over, and when they do, they don't always come through with an estimate. We had a couple of leaks for many years and had been unsuccessful in finding someone to fix it definitively. Mike Scheinfield sent his long-term guy Matthew and we got a friendly visit and a timely estimate. While we tried to get comparison estimates, he offered a discount, as they had some extra time in-between jobs. Since his was the best estimate, we went ahead. We were pleased with their service and attention. So far, the roof has not leaked again. Of course, we have to wait until there are a few more heavy downpours to know for sure if it is fixed definitively. They gave us a year guarantee (mainly because it was a repair and not a whole new roof)."
