He also chopped down a couple of trees for me. Scott did a great job installing my fence, the price was right & my fence looks nice!! "Dealing with North Star was a fabulous experience. We felt fully satisfied starting from the Owner Jason coming to quote the work to finishing the work, including a fence that had to be redone after another contractor. He not only quoted the total, but also provided the amount for each project separately (drainage using 4-6" rocks for a hillside patio, installing vinyl fence, installing wooden railing by steps down the hill) . He even picked up some needed material from the store. The Jason worked along side his coworkers who were all very professional as well. North Star's customer service was very warm and friendly. There is plenty of snow and ice at this time outside, so, I will provide some pics when the ground clears. In sum, I will gladly hire North Star for other projects and recommend to others looking for a reliable landscape and home services provider."

"Though they had a wonderful personality, the work was not completed because they would not come back once paid. We now have to hire someone else to replace the gates, which we told them they were bowed and needed repair. This was only 2-3 weeks after installation. He always promised to come, but no show. Now we need a whole new gate which will set us back $800 for the big gate and another $300 for the smaller gate."

"MHI repainted my house in the fall of 2016. They initially did a sloppy job while going 40% over the initial estimate. But in October 2019 they came back out to fix some problems with the earlier work and to perform some additional work at a very reasonable cost. The crew that originally painted my house is no longer with the company. Bill's crew performed the work this year, and did a much better job. Bill will have a prominent role in MHI going forward, so I am confident they will be a very different company than the one I dealt with in 2016. I'll likely have Bill's crew repaint the interior of my house when this is done in a month or so. While I gave the 2016 MHI poor grades, Bill earned all A's."
