Overall, we are extremely pleased with the way our yard/landscaping looks and the job that they performed.  While we had asked that they merely 'top off' the already existing mulch in the beds, due to the lack of experience using this type of mulch they began to thickly apply the nuggets and then ended up needing to purchase another 4-5 yards of bark to finish the job costing us approximately another $400 that we had not expected.  In addition (and I am being picky), when asked to thin out a lilac bush to help the blooming season next year, it was barely touched. And when asked to cut off all the suckers at the bottom of another bush, they cut them back but not all the way to the 'trunk' leaving leaves at the base where I wanted it bare.  Some of the cuttings from the grass plants and other shrubbery were also simply covered in mulch rather than cleaned up before spreading the nugget as well as some grass that had begun to spread into the edge of the plantings which I will now have to go out and weed or spray with grass killer. 

 I would definitely use this company again and plan to in the future.  However, I will probably be much more specific in my directions due to the age/experience of the actual young men on site.

"Amazing group of repair professionals. I highly recommend Mr. Handyman Pittsburgh East. The deck on my house needed to be replaced. Rick, the Project Manager, and Todd, Chuck, Shawn and Jack, the service techs who worked on the deck, were excellent, very professional and neat, cleaning up every day. When I started talking with Rick about this project, I thought it wasn't going to possible for me to have everything taken care of in one undertaking. "I thought I wrote a review of this a couple of years ago when the work
was done, but Angie's list has been emailing me for the past few
months to write a review.
Michael Evonich came at my request to make an estimate on installing
handrails on two short sets of steps from the sidewalk to our front porch.
 His estimate was good and we arranged for the job to be done and he
came at the arranged time and installed the handrails as promised in
good time and an excellent job.  We were very pleased with every aspect
 of the job.
It is now so long ago that I don't remember the date nor the cost. 
(It may well have been a lot more than the $200 I posted for this
review).I only know that I was very pleased with the job and with the cost. 
I am wondering if the reason we are now being asked to review this job is
because of the classification used in an earlier review.  Neither
"wrought iron" nor "fences" seems to accurately describe manufacture and
installation of handrails at steps, but those are the two categories
offored for Mike Evonich's services.  Whatever the classification
applicable, we were very pleased with Mike Evonich/Helping Handrail's
services, would use him again for similar or related work, and would
recommend him if someone were seeking those services.

"Adam was great! Our old fence was beginning to splinter and fall, which isn't safe when you have 2 dogs. After contacting Adam for a quote, he came right out and made a plan to replace our fence, a gate that was shoddily done by another contractor, and add 2 additional gates. "It was the best experience I’ve had in general contracting. I just bought a new house and I needed a fence to be able to move because of huge dogs. They worked with me to get the fence done asap as they understood my situation. I had 4 ft aluminum installed off of my front porch and 5ft chain link around the entire back porch and backyard. I had 6 gates installed in total. All different sizes and most had to be built by Brian to fit grade of yard. They took all of my suggestions and then added to them to make my fences as safe and secure as possible. They are super dog friendly which made everything easy for me. They installed taller panels above my walls attached to house to further prevent my dogs from getting out and anything else from getting in. And we also decided that instead of replacing short railing of back porch to just fence it in with 4 ft chain link right into yard.
