"When they did the edges, I didn’t want them to put the bricks there. I wanted them to put a trench to separate where the grass started and the flower bed. I asked them to do it because I wanted it to look more professional and not like something crazy I did that wasn’t straight. It looks very crooked like something I would have done. The front they did well. I told him and he came back out and let him off the hook. He acknowledgeable that he could have done a better job. They didn’t’ put the extensions on the down spout far enough. So now I need to re-dig and make them lower or add more top soil above. They didn’t do a professional job as I would have liked. They were supposed to spray and a couple of days later I noticed that none of the vegetation was dying. I called back and they acknowledge it and came back out. They were responsive.    I tried to use them again but they were not responsive."

"The providers tree crew arrived promptly, and set to bringing down a 120' tree w/out damaging the yard or surrounding wall.  They did this w/amazing accuracy and professionalism.  They pruned all the other trees and shrubs per our request and when the large poplar tree was on the ground we could see first hand the damage that had already occurred in the tree and was simply waiting for a big wind to topple over this giant.  There was no outward evidence that we could see but Ferris Crilly (owner) recognized the problem of dual trunk, poplar tree.  Had this tree not come down under his crew's care it would have fallen at some point on either our house or crashed over our road.  This tree was rotten down to the bottom of the trunk and we didn't have a clue there was any problem.   The rest of the work was completed to our complete satisfaction.  The team cleaned up our yard and driveway of all debris including saw dust from the chain saw chopping up the tree trunk. They left our property in as good as, or better condition than they found it before they began their work.   Pro Arbor will be our tree professionals for any future needs.   They KNOW what to do, and how to do it safely, and with care to protect the surrounding landscaping and property.  We rate them at A++.

"We hired Northern Virginia Landscaping Virginia Landscaping to help with a drainage issue in our yard. Overall, they were outstanding. Specifically, - We invited several companies to assess the project and Northern Virginia Landscaping were the best in terms of showing up when promised, thoroughly assessing the issue, and suggesting a plan for how to proceed. It’s amazing how many other companies missed key issues, came up with half-baked plans, or didn’t show up at all. - When we retained Northern Virginia Landscaping, Ibi, the owner, worked closely with us to come up with a design that was both practical and aesthetic. - Ibi was very open to negotiation, helping us prioritize different parts of the project and evaluate trade offs between costs of various parts of the design. He also specifically sought our input into the design through the process. By the end, we felt like the design was our own. - Once the design was finalized, Ibi was clear about when the work would begin and how long it would take. When heavy rains delayed his crew at another project, he was clear with us about what that meant for our start date. Overall, the communication and customer service were excellent and Ibi made himself fully available when we had questions. - Once the work began, it went very smoothly and largely according to plan. We knew exactly what would happen when and on the few occasions there were unanticipated decisions needing to be made, Ibi consulted us on our options and quickly incorporated our feedback into the work. - We did not necessarily seek out the lowest cost option, but the prices were very reasonable given the high quality product. Just as important, the pricing was very transparent and there were no “surprise” costs once the project began. The work was completed on time, on budget, and on spec. Ibi also did a final walk through with us to make sure we were satisfied and to answer our questions. Overall, we very very happy with Northern Virginia Landscaping. They seem like an energetic young company that wants to give their clients great work and customer service at a reasonable price."

There is great communication from his sister Lauren who sent copies of their license, and insurance along with the contract. The team showed up when they said they would and did the work efficiently. "I am late with my review, but will not forget my experience with Mr. Garrett.  He responded to my email request for assistance with my flower bed.  The only thing I knew was I wanted hostas, but was unsure how to begin or what to do.  He gave me some options to consider and agreed to come by to assess the project area. He was very enthusiatic and you could easily see his passion for what he does.  He gave me multiple wonderful ideas of how to arrange the hostas, and how to incorporate colors with them and even drew them out for me so I coudl visualize it!  He patiently answered all my questions, listened to everything I had to say and did not make me feel pressured about anything.  He gave me a quote that was reasonable if I wanted him to do the job.  Which I really do, but unfortunately I wasn't able to take advantage of his services right then.  However, I definitely plan to to schedule his services in the early spring of next year.  I am very eager and very confident that he will turn my dead flower bed into a beautiful area that will bring curb appeal and compliment my home.  I look forward to his services and will update my review after it is completed.

"Fantastic! Daniel truly has a talent for this job. He is very knowledgeable, and certainly an expert. Some of the trees that we had were very dangerous, very close to our home & leaning over our home. He was able to remove them safely & efficiently. I have reccomended them to everyone in our neighborhood & beyond because we were so pleased with the work. 
Living in a very wooded community we have come across a lot of tree companies, and Daniel stands out far above the rest because of his honesty & trustworthiness.

"Very well, they cleared and trimmed to my specifications including total removal of some small trees and bushes. The only negative (which was my fault for not warning them) was the Fios cable they cut while digging up a 30 year old bush. I'll know next time. Would definitely use them again."

"NGT Lawn Care is a very good lawn service.  They are punctual, professional, and courteous.  If something happens to be overlooked, they'll return to the jobsite and make it right until the customer is satisfied.  We found them to be flexible with our requests and worked with us until we are satisfied. We are very satisfied so far.  Once the snows fall this winter, I look forward to updating this review with impressions on their snow removal service.
