"Josh (and Les!) are the real deal. Despite submitting several requests to other handymen on Angi, Josh was the only businessman to call me personally (and he called within an hour of my submission), to talk to me about what I needed and to set up a time to come out to our home and give us an accurate bid. There was a snow-storm the week that he was set to visit us, and Josh planned ahead of time, working with me to reschedule his visit and communicating throughout the week. In fact, he actually ended up coming to us in his personal vehicle to take a look at my mini projects-- all because he knew that we were in a time crunch to get these things done before our house was sold! He offered both a more affordable/easier solution AND a more expensive-- but more thorough option for each of the items that I had on my list, and I really appreciated that transparency and that forthrightness with us. His suggestions actually helped REDUCE our bid price, below what I was expecting! Les came out and did each job flawlessly. (We had a shower door that was leaking and two interior doors that were not closing, one due to our house settling.) These items were simple enough to do I'm sure-- but I never felt like any corners were cut by any means. These guys handled each task like pros. There's integrity and honesty in what they do and how they operate. I've already referred One Call Home Repair to a few other friends of mine that have had sub-par experiences finding the right handyman and I will absolutely call Josh and team again for our next home!"

"Met with co-owner/designer Mary Ann who provided valuable guidance in what needed to be done for décor, paint colors, trim, flooring, counters, backsplash and countertops. Based on her recommendations, we had kitchen and powder room cabinets painted, trim and baseboards replaced throughout house, full interior paint of walls, ceilings, mantels, millwork base, case, doors, jambs and full window wraps. Kitchen and two bathroom countertops replaced with quartz, tile backsplash in kitchen, quartz backsplash in bathrooms, new sinks and new flooring in bathrooms. Owner Jeremy did all carpentry and coordinated all aspects of the project. Trim and major painting took a little over 3 weeks. Kitchen and bathrooms finished the following week. Everything stayed on schedule throughout. Jeremy adjusted the schedule so that we were able to remain in the house (no hotel room expenses), and able to use the kitchen during all but 3 days. The crews and subcontractors were competent, hardworking, accommodating and pleasant to be around. Everything was cleaned up daily. All carpentry (replacement of trim and baseboards) was charged on a time and materials basis rather than the customary lump sum bid. This made it less costly. We were able to save money by doing some of the prep ourselves; remove trim, patch walls, etc. We now have a beautifully updated home (for a reasonable price) and a reliable, competent general contractor and design team for our next project."

"Windows replacement went well. Aaron’s Crew was great, friendly and very professional. We replaced 14 windows and a 2 sliding doors. One of the sliding. Doors we replaced with a French door. We did run into an issue with one window, when it arrived it was the incorrect size. Replacement window was quickly ordered and will be installed when it arrives. Just know that with polar bear your paying for the quality."

"The work done at that time was superb. They were not the cheapest bid for the job (by any means) but I can tell you they were worth every penny and more. They did not just slap on a new roof. Once the old roof was removed they were able to identify and fix issues that would have resulted in a shorter life for the new roof. Since that initial install we have had a couple of issues happen that I initially thought were related to the roof leaking. In both cases LHRR responded immediately and had someone come out to take a look that same afternoon. It turned out that neither leak was the fault of the roof. However, not only did they isolate where the problems were, they took charge of getting them resolved. In one case by getting a new chimney stack hood built and installed. And, in a situation that happened this last Friday afternoon we had a call from our tenant that the "roof over the hall closet had collapsed". That sounded very serious and I called LHRR. They had one of there project managers out there within an hour. I drove up to the house and within 30 minutes of arriving David from LHRR showed up as well. The roof was, in fact, intact - however the sheet rock ceiling in the closet had fallen down and was obviously very wet. After going up on the roof and seeing no obvious roof issues David, by putting is fingers into some of the vent holes, realized what the issue was. "Your vent stack from the furnace has come apart". This mean the furnace was venting into the attic. We quickly verified that was the issue. Rather than saying to me that this was not a roof issue David took it upon himself to get fix the problem. This included having another worker from his team come over and also calling a parts supplier to get a replace piece of the vent stack. The two of them cleaned up the fallen blow-in insulation in the closed and then from the underside (thru the closet ceiling) and someone on the roof made the necessary repairs to insure that the issue was not only fixed but fasten more securely with screws and straps to prevent this from every happening again. So a call from a frantic tenant at 1:30pm was completely resolved by 4:30pm (except for some upcoming sheet rock repair after we let things dry out). I had called the furnace vendor and others and got a simply - sorry it's Friday afternoon. We can have someone there on Tuesday. The response that I got from LHRR was above and beyond type of service response. And this is the 2nd time for me that they have responded this way. I want to make sure that I added this review to let people know the value of doing business with a reputable company that truly stands behind their work and even goes way beyond that. DO NOT be tempted to simply go with a low bidder. Unfortunately there are lots of shortcuts that can be taken in this type of work to make the job cheaper. LHRR does the right thing and should be commended and rewarded for that. While you cheaper roofing job might look OK on day one, will they truly be there for you in 5 years when something goes wrong. A profound thanks to LHRR for their continued great service over the years. You cannot go wrong with these guys. I would rate them A++++ if it were an option."

"This guy was amazing. We took 5-6 bids; he was way cheaper than all the other bids. He had guaranteed the best service, and he came through. We can't even tell that he was here. He carefully pulled all the bark off to the side on to a tarp, dug down, replaced everything and smoothed it out. I am so impressed. They were punctual and on time. They said that they would make the yard look like they were never there except for a little tiny cleanup cap, and they did it. They cleaned up everything after themselves; we would have never known that they were there. They dug out probably six feet of dirt, three feet wide and several feet deep, and we can't tell."
