"We engaged Tom Burrell of TD Burrel D&S for a deck renovation project that involved updating an aging wooden deck with TimberTech composite decking. From the outset, Tom demonstrated exceptional craftsmanship, creative spirit, and a deep understanding of the materials. We selected Tom due to his expertise and experience with TimberTech, his competitive pricing, and his flexibility with the project scope. We received quotes from three other deck companies, all of which were more expensive and less accommodating. Tom was thorough, detailed, flexible, patient, and kind. We recommend Tom and his work, however, a few considerations to keep in mind: 1. Our project was planned for 2023 but was ultimately delayed into 2024 due to unforeseen financial circumstances and impacts from other projects. Though unplanned and unfortunate, Tom maintained consistent communication with us throughout this period. 2. Tom operates mostly as a one-man team. While this is reflected in his lower overhead costs, it also means that the project pace will likely be slower compared to companies with larger teams. Our project was initially scheduled for a few weeks but ultimately took several months to complete due to necessary structural corrections, additions to the work order, intermittent issues with equipment and weather. 3. We recommend proactively asking about potential incremental costs for any changes in scope and stipulating that any updates be discussed and agreed upon in writing before implementation. For our specific project, corrections were necessary to the existing deck structure and additional items were discussed and added to the work. This resulted in the final project cost exceeding our initial budget expectation. While these changes were required and requested, discussions regarding the additional costs occurred late in the project. Keeping all parties aligned on scope and cost will help avoid any surprises and make finalizing the project easier. Despite these considerations, Tom is committed, easy to work with, and delivered a beautiful deck that our family will enjoy for many years to come."

The latest project was to build custom closet cabinets in our master bedroom and a custom bench in the master bathroom and they are amazing! Nick was very helpful during the pre-build process as he came onsite and we discussed various wood options, layouts, designs, etc. and during the build process Nick was great about giving us progress updates. I also have to commend Nick on being flexible and taking on extra last-minute projects that came up. He was able to also install crown molding throughout most of our upstairs, wainscoting in the master bathroom and several new doors and trim. We would use Biango Construction in the future."

In the end we ended up having a large paver patio installed along with a custom entertainment wall for our family to enjoy evenings outside together watching movies.This company's customer service and attention to detail is outstanding. "This place has terrible customer service and doesn't care about small pool purchases (they only prioritize big projects). As of May 14, 2020, I paid (down payment) for a 16' pool from Russo's Pools. I was told my pool would be installed in July 2020. The installer was to go out to look at the site within 1 week. They never did. I called and got no one, only leaving a message or the phone just ringing. This was all last summer 2020 with no communication. I contacted Russo's pool in March 2021 and was told they didn't have my pool nor had any idea what happened. They have given me the run-around since. I was told the installer would call me, and week after week, they did not. Not until I asked to speak to the owner that the installer called me, stating he had JUST gotten my number. The owner discussed them obtaining and installing an 18' pool to make things right. Anthony Russo is now stating he never said that; he says he only said he would look into it. All discussions about pool and site were about 18'. Even the assistant I have been talking to this week has been checking deliveries for the 18' pool and working on getting one. Anthony Russo says he can't do that, and I am here 334 days later and NO pool."
