He's replaced doors, windows and exterior trim work at our house in St. Paul. It's an old house so the projects can be more challenging than in a newer place. "They came right away and sucked out 4 inches of water, left a huge dehumidifier and blowers, hauled away my wet stuff, consulted on what could be saved, let me know what to do for insurance, and then came and cleaned the basement (unfinished cement basement) completely with a powerwash. "Justin and his crew have been amazing to work with every step of the way. 0ur roof was damaged in a storm last summer and we put it off until this year to have it looked at. Justin was extremely responsive and timely in coming to look at it, met with the insurance agent on extremely short notice, and was highly knowledgeable in helping us to understand the insurance process. He and his project manager, Darrin, were always available to answer questions and help us with samples and decisions. While they helped us understand every step, we never felt pushed or talked down to. The communication both ways was always very quick and polite. The entire team that worked on our property was obviously very skilled and took pride in their work. They took extra steps and time to make sure that gardens and landscaping surrounding the house was carefully protected during the tear-off process. That being said, they did work very quickly! At the end of each day, they carefully cleaned up the work area. Based on our many interactions with JJ Home Services, we booked him for several other projects around the house (siding, bathroom remodel, door and window install). He has assembled a great team, and we really appreciate the working relationships we've seen that have been established with all of them."

"They did every window in the house in one day. The whole experience was fine and we didn't have any issues with the windows and they did a good job. One window in the bathroom had privacy glass, so it was a design on it that would let the light in but you couldn't see. They came out and we told them that it wasn't what we ordered. They got the right order and came back out and replaced it. That was a good deal for us and we didn't have any issues. The crew came out here and were going at such a good pace. I was helping them clean up the mess and then they would go onto the next one. I would save them time, but stayed into the evening to finish the job. They had them pre-measured, had them built, brought them out, popped out the old windows, and got the new ones slapped in. We haven't called them back for anything. We've been pretty happy with them and they've been a good product for us. We have a patio door that I tore apart. I painted it and rebuilt the wood portion of the frame. It's held up over the years, but at some point I would probably go back to Wellington because they custom built the windows and they all fitted with no issues."

Hal and his crew were a pleasure to work with. Anytime there was a discretionary call to make, Hal would consult me to be sure he was following my wishes. His crew cleaned up after themselves daily and everyone was polite and friendly. Hal's quality of work is amazing. He cuts no corners, and he makes sure no one else does either! My husband screwed down into the deck a stabilizing bar for the steps that go down into the pool. When Hal saw the next day that my hubby had used a type of screw that would rust over time, Hal quietly replaced them with stainless steel. All the wood was nicely sanded smooth and its a pleasure to touch it.
I was actually sorry to see Hal finish up the project and move on to another job. It was nice having him and his staff around the house. Now I just need to think up another project or two to have him come back!"
