"Brad did a great job with our retaining wall, hardscaping, and pavers. He came on time and followed through as we expected. We had a number of change orders and Brad took care of these without any problems. After completion of work he cleaned the site well. He met all our expectations and it was a pleasure to work with Brad and we would hire him again."

"We purchased a townhome in Flagstaff several months ago. The unit is situated on a small hill with a pine forest to the rear. There was a small patio in the rear yard. However, the soil was eroding down the hill into the valley below and the patio was cracking due to the unstable soil. I contacted Angelsun Landscaping and Michael inspected the problem and came up with a solution to stop the erosion and stabilize the rear yard with a retaining wall and extending our brick paver patio. JP, Michael's father suggested additional items and solutions. The work took just a little over a week. We were not at the property while the work was taking place. When we arrived to view the work...we were totally blown away by the improvements. They were better than expected. The new patio was magnificent!! In addition, an aluminum wrought iron style fence was added plus a planting area. All the work exceeded our expectations. JP and Michael are the consummate professionals and we would not hesitate to have them do any landscaping work we may have in the future."

"Morning Dew developed a plan and design for a patio that covered about a <br /> third of the backyard of our townhouse as well as other hard scape <br /> features using decorative stone and a variety of low-maintenance <br /> plantings, an important quality for this redesign project since the <br /> townhouse is a rental. Chris Lloyd was excellent to work with -- he took <br /> our general design ideas and developed them into a design that <br /> literally transformed the backyard from a nondescript space with an <br /> original concrete slab patio and long-neglected grass area into an <br /> inviting and aesthetically attractive environment. What's more, he <br /> developed the plan with input from us by phone and email since we live <br /> in Maryland and only had one opportunity to meet with him at the <br /> townhouse this past April, when we were in Flagstaff and met with him <br /> and two other landscape companies to solicit proposals. As we finalized <br /> the plan, he was also helpful in translating for us the pattern and <br /> color differences in the Belgard pavers between the ones available in <br /> the Southwest and the ones we viewed on the East Coast. <br /> When the installation happened, Chris was able to get permission from <br /> the property manager of an adjacent apartment complex to temporarily <br /> remove a section of chain link fence on the apartments property, which <br /> permitted access to our backyard, saving substantial labor costs to <br /> either have wheel-barrowed the materials several hundred feet around the <br /> end of the row of townhouses ours is part or or to have had to move the <br /> materials to the backyard via our garage and dining room. He also <br /> coordinated the installation with a painting company that was scheduled <br /> to paint the townhouse's exterior in August, saving us the extra <br /> logistics of doing that communication and coordination between the two <br /> contractors. <br /> The resulting installation was done in the time frame we were told to <br /> expect with a slight delay in the installation of the tree and shrubs <br /> because of my timing in making the choices for those items. After it was <br /> complete, my son, who lives in the townhouse, noticed a couple of minor <br /> issues with spacing between some of the pavers on the perimeter the <br /> patio, which Chris Lloyd was prompt to fix. <br /> It was a delight to work with Chris and Morning Dew and I've mentioned <br /> his work to the manager of our town home association management company <br /> in case owner owners are thinking about upgrading their yards. <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Lakeside, AZ

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
