"I hired Paul to put in a tile shower in my upstairs bath. My husband had already removed the tub and started some of the work. Paul was very accommodating at working with what my husband had done. He and his crew put in the shower floor and even made me a little foot rest in the corner. They put in the new faucets and body jets for me and did all the tile work. He also worked with Crystal Illusions to get the glass and shower doors ordered. My shower is wonderful and I am so happy it is finished. Thanks guys."

Small jobs welcome

"This was the best service experience I have had. The project was and urgent need but not an emergency and Streb fitted us into their schedule within two days of my contact. The project was completed in less than the estimated three days and slightly under budget! we received impeccable craftmanship in the installation. The quality and the timing for the project could not have been better. I would recommend Streb Electric to anyone I know."

"This is the second time we've used Blue Star, and again Hank did an excellent job. He's very trustworthy and easy to work with, and when there is a choice, always errs on the side of safety. He even came back to swap out a potentially hazardous light switch at no charge. We highly recommend him."

"Assurance Factor Electric did a fantastic job for me. Bill and his crew installed recess lighting in two rooms in my house. They did everything from helping me to design the lighting to removing old fixtures, installing new recess lighting, drywall repair and painting. They were quick, curtious and cleaned up when done. All this for one of the most Affordable quotes. I had four other estimates. Not only was Bill the most affordable, he was the most helpful during the quoting process. I would recommend them to anyone. Wally Valley View"

"They did major work on our home's electrical. The breaker panel was upgraded, overhead lighting installed throughout the home, ceiling fans installed, additional outlets and switches, as well as a 30 amp outlet for our RV. They were very professional and curtious. They take pride in their workmanship. I highly recommend!"

"On Thursday, the technician (David) came to my house to look at two projects: replacing a leaking electric water heater, and installing a new gas line (in my crawlspace) to my masonry fireplace so I can convert from wood to gas logs. He explained my options, and quoted prices for these options. I asked if he could do the work on the upcoming Saturday, and he scheduled this before he left! I ordered the gas tankless water heater and the gas line to my fireplace. By the way, I had 3 different plumbers look at this work, WyattWorks had the lowest prices. On Saturday David and Alex arrived early in the morning and worked past 6:30 PM to complete both jobs. The installations were great. Everything to code, and with neat, high quality workmanship and thoroughly tested. They cleaned up the work areas and hauled away my old water heater. In other words, a typical WyattWorks job."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Lakewood, OH

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
