After talking with Paul (the owner) about their process, time table, giving me certificates of insurance and really asking questions even about his equipment I felt most comfortable going with him. Everything removed! And they only charged us $1000! It was a huge tree that had to be lifted off the cabin first. "All Hail the Wood King! I highly recommend this Tree Service company. Vinny and Mindy do an amazing job. I had two very large and healthy 40+ year old honey locust trees that were just a little too close to my house and needed to be removed. These trees were covered in ivy vines that were so old, they had basically turned into wood themselves. The trees were filled with bees. It was no joke, these trees were a project and I feared that no one would be willing to take them down. After several outrageous estimates from other companies, The Wood King came by and quoted me an excellent price for the tree removal and the stump grinding. They ARE-insured as well, which believe it or not, many smaller companies are NOT. My trees were safely removed in just 2 visits. Like I said, the trees were very close to the house, hanging over the roof etc and Vinny took his time to carefully cut the trees so nothing was damaged and my landscaping was not disrupted. The stumps were grinded and they did an excellent job with cleanup. PLUS ~ they gave me a thank you gift for using their service.
