Replacement was not a service they did, but they did supply the name of a company to contact for replacement. They were very honest, only charged for the services they provided. I would recommend them again and will use them again myself."

"Air duct cleaning is ripe for being taken to the cleaners. I had a less than honorable person three days prior quote me $200 on the phone and show up and tell me that it was going to cost $925. Needless to say, I pointed him to the door. <br /> Santa Monica Air Duct arrived on time and with no gimmicks. It's obvious that he has been doing this for quite sometime. He was quite thorough going room to room for each air vent. He even pointed out two minor issues and advised me how to fix them. He offers a 1" air filter, so know what type of filter your system uses. Knowing mine used a 5" filter, I purchased online prior to his arrival. We were quite happy with the cleaning and would use them again. <br />"

The following work was performed: 1.Remove registers , clean and sanitize. 2.Clean out duct with Rotobrush to remove loose dust, fluff, particles, etc. 3.Wipe down the inside walls of the vent area with warm water and disinfectant mix."

Cost was from 1-10 vents in the home $55 a vent, in my case it was $495 and if I wanted the dryer vent cleaned it is normally $149 but half off if I had the full duct system cleaned in my home. They clean and sanitize all of the vents and the service sounds very thorough. I elected to go with a different Angie's List recommended company who did the exact same service at less than 50% of the cost."

"Quality Carpet Cleaning does not actually perform the work. They contract other third-party companies to perform the work. The person that arrived was from an Air Duct Cleaning company that also does carpet cleaning. As soon as he came in to do the walk through, he started trying to sell me on his air duct cleaning services and looking at my HVAC filter. Additionally, I called Quality Carpet Cleaning several times to request that the field person brings pads to protect a wooden bed frame that sits on the floor, but he only had small styrofoam pads that wouldn't support the bed. Finally, the bed in the other room was rolled to the middle of the floor to get the entire carpet cleaned, but it was only after he started cleaning around the bed that he said I couldn't move the bed otherwise it would rust the carpet or the carpet wouldn't dry. Why wouldn't he tell me that BEFORE he started during the walk through??? Then I would have moved the bed back into it's normal position. There were a couple other items that he worked around instead of asking if we wanted to move them first. He seemed irritated and left without saying goodbye or a final check. I would not use again. Poor customer service from the air duct company contracted by Quality Carpet Cleaning to do carpet cleaning. Quality Carpet Cleaning called requesting feedback. When I told them what happened, they said they would refund my payment, but I did not receive a refund. The carpet is clean, but it was a hassle."
