"On 9-5-2-21 the owner from Jacobs Ladder Roofing Group PLLC gave me a quote to take care of my roof and apply the roof coating. Paid a deposit of half the amount so job could be done. Jacobs Ladder Roofing Group PLLC provided a 6-year warranty on the roof coating. The owner let me know to call if there were any issues with the roof and they would come out and take care of any issues. 2022, have had water coming in and leaking into the bathtub from above the window. This should not happen since roof had been sealed in 2021. Contacted the owner at Jacobs Ladder Roofing Group PLLC on these dates: 8-17-2022 left a voice message to please contact me for Jacobs Ladder Roofing Group PLLC to come out and look at my roof. 8-23-2022 sent a text message to please call me regarding the issue of water coming into my home. 8-23-2022 sent an email to Jacobs Ladder Roofing Group asking for the common courtesy of a return phone call regarding my roof. Left Jacobs Ladder Roofing Group PLLC three ways to contact me and as of 8-31-2022 have not been contacted by this company at all. On 8-28-2022, while on a ladder to do some painting of the gutters, took a look at my roof and saw the gray color (the color of the roof before being coated) showing through in numerous places where the white coating should have been applied with a brush, in the areas that were not smooth/flat on the roof, along with being rolled on. Since there are many areas where the gray color can be seen, that means the coating was not applied evenly or the gray color would not be able to be seen at all. I paid a lot of money to this company for the job. I want this to be corrected by Jacobs Ladder Roofing Group PLLC, have a 6-year warranty from them, and if they do not correct this issue, a complete return of the money I paid for the job. Jacobs Ladder Roofing Group PLLC, Justice, IL Only after I contacted the IDFPR and the Illinois Attorney Generals office did the owner finally show up at my home on June 8, 2023 asking me if they re-coated my roof would that be satisfactory and would be out the following week to re-coat and call first to let me know what day this would be done. As of July 17, 2023 the owner never called, showed up or contacted me by text, landline, cell or in person."

"I was very impressed with the information provided and the speed in which my queries were responded to. I received a quote of $520 for the job and the certificate of insurance I requested. I verified the cost quoted included cleaning the deck. I was told that the "deck was part of the house". I provided photos of the shed, and the house to assist with providing an accurate quote. I had a couple of additional questions prior to scheduling that I emailed to PrimeTime. Suddenly, my emails were kicked back as being undeliverable. Apparently, the person I had been dealing with must have separated from the company and the information about this job was not passed on. I sent an email to Primetime via their website regarding the returned emails and scheduling the job and was contacted promptly, which was appreciated. I reviewed the jobs to be performed and confirmed the price we were quoted. I was now being told there was additional cost involved with power washing our deck, which happens to be very small. I offered to send them photos of the deck and to measure it. They would not commit to the $520 price quoted, and I was told they would cost out the deck once they saw it, the day of the job. I indicated this was not what I had contracted for, and I emailed back the documentation and photos previously sent to them to aid in getting a quote. They refused to commit to the $520 quote, but said "not to worry about it" and we set a date for them to come out to do the job. PrimeTime's subcontractor showed up and did not appear to have any of the paperwork emailed to me. After consulting with the main office, I was given a totally different quote for the job - over $400 more than agreed to. The subcontractor called Primetime again and was sent back in to try and negotiate the job again. We felt bad for him because he made no money that day. After the subcontractor left, I immediately got a phone call from PrimeTime trying to renegotiate the cost of the job telling me:. They really wanted my business, You can't expect us to drive to Every customer's house and give an estimate, They've been doing business in this area for over 20 years..... I told him that this is one job he isn't going to get, as it smacked of bait and switch. I know what I contracted for. I can understand having to adjust the price slightly after seeing the job at the site. However, I had the written estimate that was agreed to, emails, and the photos I sent to them to help estimate cost including the deck. Then, to actually get to the job and want to charge over $400 more ($915)?? Not going to happen, especially on my unemployment check. ADDITIONAL COMMENT: After posting my review on YELP about my experience, the next morning I started receiving telephone calls from them starting at 7:00 a.m. which didn't make me happy as I am recuperating from surgery as well as an unhappy response to my YELP review.
