"We had 1st Action Plumbing, Heating & Air Inc install a new furnace and A/C system in our home about three years ago, and we couldn’t be happier with it! The system has worked amazingly well and has been reliable ever since. We had a great experience with the installation and would definitely recommend 1st Action to anyone looking for quality HVAC work and a company they can trust!"

"I recently hired Pure Water Services for a series of plumbing issues in our home that we purchased as a short sale and in dire need of repair. I couldn't be more satisfied with the service I received. From start to finish, the experience was timely and top-notch! First, they installed a new sink and disposal in our kitchen. The process was seamless, and the plumber was punctual, professional, and highly knowledgeable. He walked me through the installation, ensuring everything was done to my satisfaction. Next, we had a pesky shower leak that was causing damage to the ceiling below. Patrick quickly diagnosed the issue and made the necessary repairs. I appreciated his attention to detail and the effort to minimize disruption to our home. The leak was completely resolved, and weâ re relieved that further damage was prevented. Finally, we needed the pressure regulator on our sprinkler system replaced after the prior owner failed to winterize the system. Again, Patrick was efficient and thorough and ensured the value and system was functioning properly before leaving. Overall, the professionalism, expertise, and customer service provided by Pure Water Services were outstanding. I highly recommend them for any plumbing needs you may have. I will definitely be calling them again for future projects!"

"Patrick from Purewater Plumbing was a pleasure to work with. Even though "we" not Purewater" ordered the wrong item, causing an installation issue, Patrick reordered and took care of the issue. Installation, quality of work, and attention to detail are amazing. The first time we have called Purewater and we now have Purewater to call for all our plumbing needs Thanks, Patrick and Clearwater Mike and Ofelia Russell"

"my water heater quit late at night, i took to angi and submitted a work order. JS plumbing was so amazing, at 11:30pm James texted me and within 30 minutes he was at my house to check it out. that's what i call instantaneous customer service. he didn't even take a cent from me for the look-see at midnight... shocker!! he ordered the parts and was back with them 3 days later(weekend slowed down the delivery of the parts, otherwise he would have been back the very next day!) he was super knowledgeable, very nice, and reasonably priced. i very much highly highly recommend JS plumbing! ps. please don't judge him, he's a hard working man, and very much looks like it. thank you James, you're amazing!"

"Manny did an excellent job cleaning out the main drain to our kitchen, and fixing other issues with our old plumbing that was installed incorrectly. He came on time, gave a free estimate, started working right away, worked for 5+ hours to fix our problems, cleaned up after himself, called to give me updates and called to let me know the job was finished. I would highly recommend using him for your plumbing needs."

"Work was done to more than my expectations. Isreal is a very respectable worker and business owner. His employees were also very good at what they do and I recommend A&S drains to anyone needing any kind of plumbing, drain cleaning, or excavation work done."

"David was amazing. He did an excellent job with all the plumbing for our new shower/ bathtub remodel. He also hooked up our dishwasher and water line to our fridge. He was kind, professional, and is very good at what he does. We would absolutely hire him again. We finally found an amazing plumber! Highly recommend."

NorthWoods Handyman has been an excellent partner for a number of repairs we're making to our farm house. Ron, the owner, came out to our house at our scheduled time to do an initial estimate of the repairs. He explained how he worked, who he'd bring out with him and what we could expect. My respect for him rose right away when he told us straight out that there was one type of repair he didn't do (carpet patching). I'd rather have someone tell me that up front than try to do it and make a mess of it!
Ron and his team did everything they said they were going to do and more. Along the way, they made good recommendations to make things even better (adding baseboards to the flooring, for example). They were patient when I changed my mind on the shower surround I wanted, and returned the old one to Home Depot without complaint. They even helped us move furniture around to make room for the flooring installation. Ron picked up all the materials we needed, credited back any extra items, and provided receipts for everything without my having to ask for them.
The repairs they have made look great. And the new flooring they installed in the basement is fantastic! Everyone who has seen it has commented about how great it looks. They've also been very respectful of our house and our time, letting us know when they are arriving or leaving, cleaning up after themselves, and just generally taking care of things. There was no mess left behind when they were done.
We will definitely be using NorthWoods Handyman again. In fact, we have already asked him to estimate four more projects for us, and are looking forwards to getting those completed.

UPDATE: We contracted NorthWoods Handyman again to complete some more minor projects, including one really icky one (pulling down old insulation out of a farm shed). They arrived on time and got everything done in two days! The work was excellent, and we're very pleased. I've upgraded their punctuality score to an A.

"Late in the afternoon and deep into the furnace project in my home, I was told that I needed another wire in place for the new furnace and they would have to knock out a piece of my wall to do that on the next day. Surprise! They would not/ could not repair the hole left behind. Their remedy was to give me a Honeywell thermostat instead of the energy saving EcoBee I had requested. When calling in to the city of Loveland regarding a rebate, I was only then told by a Loveland City employee, that my new thermostat and furnace did NOT qualify for any rebates, because the (already installed) unit was graded as an 8 rather than a 9, needed to qualify. Surprise! After paying $7,700 for this job, I was disappointed that there were NO rebates to help defray my cost and that my new system was no as energy efficient, which was my main goal. I WAS told that my new system would/should bring my energy bill down greatly from the previous old furnace. (Duh!) I was also notified by an invoice that I needed to pay the entire bill upfront on the day of installation or the bill would greatly increase by over $1,000. Another Surprise!! I felt that upfront and honest communication was lacking. I was given only the good news, and not the bad news which would have been nice to have available so that I could make the decision on what would best suit my needs after having All of the pros and CONS given to me. (Perhaps they thought that an elderly single lady could not do that?) The first day two men were working on the furnace, the second day only one of the men came back, and on the following third day a specialist was sent out to check and reset the thermostat which was not working correctly. Today, day 4, everything seems to be working well, fingers crossed! The good news: I felt that this company had all supplies needed on hand, had trained technicians, and did send out a specialist to ensure that everything was working well immediately after the work was completed. They were very neat and put drapes down on my stairs and carpet. They cleaned up and hauled away all debris. They changed my thermostat to a higher and more expensive one than the cost of the original one, which they said was at their cost. If forefront communication had been done honestly and completely, I would have given this company a higher rating."

"I had a great experience with CAAR Plumbing. Chauncy was prompt, professional, and explained everything clearly. The issue was resolved quickly, and they left the area clean. Highly recommend them for reliable and affordable plumbing services! Will hire again for future services !"
