"I was truly impressed with the customer service at AHE. Shannon was a delight on the telephone and Joe was very knowledgeable and helpful when he came to my home to do an assessment. Corey, the installer, did an excellent job installing two doors and I would recommend this company with no hesitation."

"Mike is doing a job for us now and so far have been very pleased. They have shown up on time and if they see something is not quite right are happy to stay as long as it takes to fix it without additional charges or add ons. MIke seems to have old fashioned values of the way you should do business and it is quite refreshing for Vegas. They gave us an honest and fair bid and we will use them again for future projects. We hope they continue to stay busy but not sooo busy that they lost sight of great customer service."

FAQs for doors (exterior) installation and replacement projects in Las Vegas, NV

Modern steel doors incorporate protective coatings and finishes that significantly reduce rust potential. These treatments create effective moisture barriers when properly maintained. Small scratches or damage should be promptly addressed with touch-up paint to prevent moisture from reaching the underlying metal.

Doors in coastal or high-humidity environments benefit from additional protective measures and more frequent inspection. With proper care, most steel doors resist corrosion for decades.

Steel doors provide superior resistance against forced entry attempts compared to fiberglass alternatives. The inherent strength of steel creates a formidable barrier that resists impacts and tampering more effectively than composite materials.

While high-quality fiberglass doors offer reasonable security, steel provides an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and structural integrity. For maximum protection, look for steel doors with reinforced strike plates and multi-point locking systems.

Most manufacturers provide warranties covering manufacturing defects for periods ranging from five to 15 years, depending on the product line and quality tier. Hardware components often carry separate warranty coverage, often for shorter durations. Installation services may include workmanship guarantees covering proper fitting and operation. Always review warranty documentation carefully to understand coverage limitations and maintenance requirements that might affect warranty validity.

Provided your existing wood frame remains structurally sound and properly aligned, professional installers can often adapt a steel door to fit. The process requires careful measurement and potentially minor modifications to accommodate the new door's specifications. The frame must provide adequate support for the heavier steel door construction. A qualified installer will evaluate your current frame's condition and recommend appropriate adjustments to ensure proper function and security.
