"Someone from Planet Roof came to my parents' house to give them an estimate for a roof (shingle) replacement (1,900 sf). After spending over an hour looking around, the gentleman gave my dad an estimate for $37,000! After my dad declined, he then dropped his estimate 2 more times and said the lowest he can go is $14,000. When my dad asked why he didn't start that low, he replied "well some people will pay the $37,000". He also went on to tell my dad how this was an investment, and he wouldn't get anything lower (keep in mind my dad is a disabled senior on a fixed income). When my dad told him he already received a quote from another company for $8,500 - he was followed by questions of who was that cheap and asked why my dad would even have him come out (when every company should know that most people would/should get multiple estimates). Do NOT recommend this company!"

Along with Eric being very detailed on what was going on and what to expect. The guys cleaned up after themselves and Jason and Eric came back for a final sweep! Amazing work and awesome team. "A Cut Above many other Contractors! We had needed brick pointing done on our home for a few years. We are also in the middle of a renovation project for our game room and that included the installation of a sliding glass door where a window was. The door install required that a steel lintel be moved up to accommodate the height of the new door. We were very fortunate that we called Michener Chimney and Masonry to come and have a look. "Trevor and his crew had come and scoped the job giving us an estimate. After we agreed they were chosen to the work, we were given a starting date. The crew showed up on time and worked for two and a half days to prepare the area for the patio extension and build a beautiful retaining wall for the area that set back into the hill. The stairs to the front door were replaced with newly constructed rebar and structural elements that will last for many more years than the original stair that only lasted 24 years. The new stairs now match the full width of the front porch which now looks much more symmetrical. The pad leading up to the stairs was enlarged and lengthened. They came back on the third day and the concrete was poured and finished. When they finished the work they made sure they cleaned up the job site and left everything as it was before. Trevor and his crew did an excellent job and we are so happy with how the job turned out and we highly recommend them for any work you may need completed."
