"I hired Brad to do some extensive Govee lights at our home. In the midst of the project we ran into several snafu’s. But Brad was able to work around them and get everything done. He was very prompt and diligent and did exactly what he said he was gonna do. He’s really easy to work with and I’d hire him all over again to get the job done."

"Mark was awesome to work with and get the ball rolling. His crew was punctual and professional. The 2 day project only took them 1 day. They painted 3 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, stairwell, 2 hallways, half a living room and half of my kitchen. Price was fair and competitive. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs painting done."

"I had a small job that requires painting of a set of faded and chipped exterior decorative rails in front of a window on the 2nd floor of my house. Daniel and his son showed up to the job on time with all necessary equipment, prep the rails for painting by scraping off all loose paints before starting to paint the rails. Daniel did an excellent job in matching the color of the existing paint on the rails. The quality of his work was outstanding and his price was reasonable. A neighbor stopped by to ask Daniel to give him a quote for painting the entire exterior of his 2-story house. He did some quick calculations based on the estimated square footage of his house and gave the neighbor a reasonable quote as well. My impressions of Daniel is that he is honest and a man of his words, a true professional. I would have no hesitations hiring D&L Painting Services again for any painting work in the future."

"I hired Castle Labor to help me move some seasonal items (large bins and some furniture) into my storage unit. They were friendly, efficient and worked at a good, steady pace. There was a discrepancy with the invoice… when I called and spoke to the owner, Samuel, he clarified things with me and even offered to refund me the amount of the dispute.. the way he handled the issue was so impressive, I told him to keep the money and instead, apply it towards the next time I’ll be using them. After the New Year, I had to move all my holiday decor and other seasonal items into storage. Of course I called Castle Labor. Scheduling with them was very easy. They were punctual and communicated well. They helped me take my bed frame apart so we can set down a new rug I had bought for my bedroom. They were just as friendly, organized, and worked efficiently as they did the first time. I went with them to my storage unit to unlock it and gave them basic guidelines on how I wanted everything organized. I gave them space and hung out at my car in case they had any questions or whatever. When they were done, I was surprised at how fast they unloaded everything, and was pleased to see how they organized everything.. they didn’t just generally stack bins, they took the time and effort to reorganize my existing inventory and set everything up even better than how I wanted it. I was so happy!! Samuel and his team always go above and beyond. I felt comfortable with them in my space, communication was straight forward and easy and the price is right. They are game changers when it comes to moving, heavy lifting, pretty much any manual labor and I cannot recommend them enough!"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Laughlin, NV

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
