"Ken was great! He was able to work around our schedule and meet us early in the morning. We had a heavy rain that morning and was happy to hang around until it lightened up.  He was very knowledgeable about all the plants on the properties and advised of care instructions and what trees might pose potential issues.  He gave lots of recommendations for other resources to reference and what to not let other arborist do if we did have someone come out to thin out some of our trees. <br /> Ken was very personable and i learned a lot.  Being new to the area and landscaping/gardening this far south he gave excellent instruction on type, care, and maintenance of every tree on the property.  I'll be calling him again for recommendations when my avocado tree improves. <br /> I would recommend him to anyone who has questions about the care of the plant on their property.  And I feel confident hiring an arborist to trim my trees knowing that I can give clear instructions on what they should do to not ruin or harm my trees. <br />"

"They treat a bunch of homes in our neighborhood, so we figured we'd give them a try. Paid for a year of service. Lawn looks just as bad, if not worse, at the end of it. Specifically asked if we needed to re-sod, etc. any areas at the start and was told they would get it all under control. Multiple times we were in the backyard, pool, etc. without seeing anyone from the company, but magically their "Lawn Treated" sign would pop up in our front yard during that time. I'm thoroughly convinced at this point that they don't actually do anything other than drop the signs off in your yard. Sent a letter detailing these reasons for canceling and received no reply whatsoever. Not a good way to do business."

They all start out great then just seem to keep pushing me around till I am being cut late Sat afternoon. Sarkowski Lawns Service has now done my yard for 8 months. "They came out right away, maybe three or four days from the call. They looked at the lawn and I signed the contract. The only issue I had was the salesman, I think he was. It was about the discount. I asked him very pointed, he called the office to have that answered. But he did have a coupon to give me off the first payment. I called the company and addressed that. They stated that he should have done that discount. It was a discount for being an Angie's List member. I don't know if he thought it would effect his commission or something. I owned my business for thirty five years, and my people would have never done that. I like the guy that has this route or whatever. And I say him the second time. I am very ignorant with all this lawn service. He seems to be very conscientious, the problem seems to be with the salesperson. I think this outfit is good, but it still kind of remains to be seen because of the salesperson, but I feel it was probably reprimanded. There seemed to be vagueness with the time of arrival, even when I called back in to double check. I would of even liked within a day notice."

"Richard came for the estimate on time. He was very knowledgeable in all aspects of pests. He did a thorough inspection and took the time to explain the process. The service man (sorry, I don't remember his name) came the day scheduled, on time and got right to work. Everything in the proposal was done in 5-6 hours. We were told we might see some swarming a day or 2 later as they were dying, and we did. Since then we haven't seen or noticed anything since. Even the termites in the back yard under the potted plants are gone. A job well done. A concern was for my cat, but he was not affected in any way. Angie's List discount is reflected in the price."
